First time visiting here today, we all had a lovely roast diner! My daughter and I had the vegan option, and it was amazing! Thoroughly enjoyed our food and will be back again
One of my favourite pubs in Lewes. A proper freehouse and a really great community feeling. Absolutely excellent ales and an open fire, and dog friendly too. The kind of pub where you can instantly feel welcome, even if you are just passing through. Good for quiz nights, and yes, a big screen for footie as well. Open fire in the winter.
I was just here for one night as I had an early meeting to be at. Wanted a drink locally and something to eat.
Lady at the bar was friendly. Food was great and cooked well, plus more chips than I could manage.
The chef asked me how my food was which is always nice.
I can recommend this local pub. Can't stress enough how important it is to support our local pubs in the UK.
