Visited Beacons View Tea Room whilst attending a course. This is situated under the main visitor area. The building is situated on the common above Libanus and on a clear day has magnificent views of the Brecon Beacons including Pen Y Fan. Unfortunately today was particularly wet and windy so no sitting out on the veranda admiring the view!
There is a reasonable selection of home cooked warm lunches and drinks on offer.

We visited in December, this place was neat and tidy. Food was well covered. Everything was organised. Staff were friendly. The best thing was chef made us a special VEGAN pastry meal, which was served with variety of vegetables in red (beetroot) green (beans) and yellow (peppers) colours It was yummy, I can still taste the flavors. After this my little one started eating beetroot. WOW!!!

I've always had very good food and service here. The hot food is freshly cooked, good quality and tasty. Good selection of cake and drinks too. If you are planning a walk or mountain biking watch out for the closing time which is perhaps a little early in the summer.

The service was very friendly, the variety of food was very good (with several options for vegetarian and Vegan also) and the chef working there was genuinely nice, attentive.
We came a bit late and the food was a bit dry and sad, but the good treatment and the big portion make it up the point.

Excellent choice of food and drink, and friendly staff. Indoor and outdoor seating options with a medium-sized indoor and outdoor play area for kids. Parking is cheap too so ideal for a base for ramblers.
