We ate there twice in a week. Food was great, portions good. Service was good and the atmosphere was of a buzzy local pub. It made the beginning and end of our canal holiday with friends.

Lovely country pub. Good range of drinks and a cracking setting by the canal. Popped in for a panini and pint. Reasonably priced and good grub. Tasty and well presented.

Wow !!! Ordered the small fish and chips as neither of us eat big meals, the meal that came was huge and delicious. We were very impressed . Highly recommended

Absolutely tops! Try the Big Ben Burger if you are really hungry. The roasts were good, too, with huge portions. We will definitely be back.

1st time of being here and I had fish and chips. Small portion but you wouldn't have thought it was small the portions was a very good size. The Minted mushy peas were to die for!!! The staff made us feel very welcome. Will definitely be visiting again soon x

Our go to Sunday lunch in Lichfield. Never fails to disappoint. We’ve been on other nights too and the normal menu is also great. Friendly staff and good service.

Our walk got rained off so we headed here. Was busy but they found us a table. The food is excellent. The place looks great especially with the lights. The babies where mesmerized. There was a live singer outside that sounded great.

Really enjoyed the food. Good size portions and presented well. Good range of beers too. You can only eat in the bar if you have a dog. It gets busy at weekends so recommend booking ahead. My only niggle was that there wasn't enough custard to go with the apple crumble 😋

Booked a table for two and the manager recognised us immediately and got the waitress to sit us and take a drinks order. Very quickly back to take our food order. The fish and chips were fabulous, huge portion of fish and proper chip shop chips, absolutely delicious. The service and food were first class, couldn't have asked for more. Loved it.
