So, I don't drink coffee, but Café Nero remains my favourite place to get a good vegan hot chocolate! There's oat, coconut or soya milk and lots of syrups to choose from.
This branch can get really busy, but there's comfortable seating, (plus wall plugs!) really friendly staff, and some great food and cake options too.

An actual hot coffee! Recently, coffee shops have been serving barely warm coffees, so it makes a nice change when you get a hot drink that's actually hot.
I've always liked the quality of coffee from Caffè Nero. And this has always remained fairly constant for years, while other places seem to be hit or miss.

Morning coffee goer. Always lovely and friendly staff. The lovely lady in the morning rembers my order after only serving me the once before. The coffee is delicious and its a nice atmosphere. Always getting the regular faces in.

Staff are 10/10, always very warm and happy to talk to. It's very clean there, and it doesn't feel super cramped even though its a lot of tablets and chairs in a small space. The drinks are delightful, and almost all of them can be made dairy free, which I really appreciate.
The only let down is that the savoury vegan food isn't great, but that's not a reflection of the store itself, and the vegan cheesecake is so good that it does kinda make up for it

This was a special place for my husband who passed away 2 years ago and memories are still fresh when I walk past Neros. He loved sitting at the table people watching & chatting to customers at the next table while I went shopping. Its 2 years this month (January) I will be having coffee at Neros again.

My favourite place to sit and read my book. The staff are always very friendly and helpful, the shop isn’t too noisy so I can read very easily, the armchairs in particular are very comfortable & there is a number of them.
