We went for a family lunch. Service was quick and food was delicious. Staff were friendly and we were seen quickly. The app wasn't working properly but staff were apologetic and very quick at taking our order in person.
We had Steak Chiabatta, Prawn Chiabatta, sausage&mash and Children's pasta.
All the meals were delicious and came in around 20 minutes.
I've also been here before to watch a comedy night hosted by local comedian Damon Conlan. Great fun!
Only negative was that the Bowling Green was a little cold today so add an extra layer of it's a particularly cold day.

Fabulous meal. Staff very polite and professional. Food served quickly and piping hot. Beautifully cooked and presented. Good value for money.

The food was delicious, the price for a 3 course meal was excellent. Only thing I would suggest is table service or two separate ques to order as Friday was really busy but had loads of people all standing around the bar and didn’t know who was next in line and could take a while to be served.

Almost everything was fine - food promptly received and fine for 2 of us. One of our party ordered lasagne which was rather overcooked. The service for the sweets was very prompt and all of us were very satisfied with them.

Everything we ordered we got,the buffet and room organised through Victoria Waddle for my wife's Wake was exceptional,food was delicious the cookies were everyone's favourite. Absolutely brilliant,I couldn't have wished for anything better.

You can't beat the prices. Three courses for

I booked online and only 12pm was available and we stayed til past half 1. And still there were plenty of tables. I didn't understand why I couldn't book

Lovely food as usual even though one of our party had to find a 3rd meal option when the first 2 choices were sold out.
My only complaint is the volume of the music. We were a party of 6 and wanted to catch up with relatives from USA but had to shout to be heard. After eating, we went outside so we could talk. It needs turning down.

We went here a few weeks ago after we got married and the staff were so lovely and accommodating. We were a lot earlier than we expected to be and they let us have the back patio area to ourselves until our booking time. Plus, the food and drinks were really good. Would definitely recommend

Went to this pub on 21st May. Had the Sunday roast dinner and dessert. Very tasty indeed. Could have been a bit warmer but never the less fill enjoyable. Had crumble and custard for dessert. Wow real custard. Well done the bowling green. Been twice in 3 weeks. Not disappointed. Definitely be back.
