Very friendly staff, not too big so sometimes you have to wait for tables to become available as is very popular.

Come here often with my nan and grandad, both to get bread from the bakery and to have their really tasty toast! I really recommend the thick malted toast it’s proper doorstop bread!
The hot chocolate is also really tasty and they have a range of hot drinks and oat and soya for those of us who are lactose intolerant :).

Staff are pleasant and helpful, bread and pastries are baked in the shop every day. There is a small cafe in the rear of the shop, which when I go in you can have a basic type of breakfast ( toast, bacon sausage or egg sandwich or mini breakfast ect.) All reasonable prepared.

Although there prices have gone up a bit to much. We use to go every week but only go every 5/6 weeks now. I love there toast and my friend always have bacon and eggs which is very nice. Shame about the price s

I grew up near San Francisco but have been living in the UK for a few years and found I really missed a good sourdough. I went on the hunt for a good bread bakery and found Hindleys. I'm happy to report that I was not disappointed. Their bread is amazing as are their pastries. It's in a lovely location and perfect for a brunch and a stroll on the weekend. I have yet to try one of their bread making classes or stop here for breakfast but both are definitely on the to-do list!

Danish pastries are very tastey. And apple Danish are loaded with fresh cream yum.
I had a coffee and toasted teacake in the cafe very fast service and friendly staff. Definitely be returning
