Nice atmosphere, comfortable seating, cheap prices and you can order on your app.
The good leaves a lot to be desired though... This place doesn't believe on serving salad or veg, which is a shame. Also, the portions are sparce, compared to the photos on the menu... very few chips served with the food...
I'd go again, but I'd avoid eating here, unless I had to.
Went out for the day to Lichfield, popped into the Acorn for lunch, the place was busy at 1:30 only a couple of free tables in the whole place, we ordered food like a lot of other people in the pub, we were served quickly for drinks and the food came not long after, all the food was spot on, couldn't fault it. I'd like to add that Alex who was working the floor did an excellent job! Taking food out, clearing tables and reseting them he did it all mainly on his own very professionally
Visited at busy midweek lunchtime, service was fast and friendly, food was served quickly and to usual high standard. Toilets were clean and well maintained.
Lovely good at great prices as there always is at a Wetherspoons. Staff friendly but when I asked them to clean a table they said they would come and clean it but they never did, had to ask someone else who did it straight away. Food was delicious 😋
Pub was lovely with great staff and fantastic food. I had the new chicken strip burger and it was actually quite nice. Was a little bit of a wait but that's understandable considering it was very busy at the time.
Visited this wetherspoons today with my friend. The food was the best I've ever had. Everything was perfect! Had the chocolate brownie with ice cream too. Couldn't fault the service, price, atmosphere & food. Would recommend to anyone visiting Lichfield. Well done to all the team at The Acorn Inn. Will come again!
The Acorn Inn is a very popular venue with friendly staff and a great menu aswell as a wide selection of drinks.
Nice place. Can be busy. Staff work hard to keep everything running as smooth as possible. Five of us had meals here today, all of us were happy with our choices.
Good and great atmosphere for the family our meals where served hot very friendly staff would definitely go back again
