Just had the most amazing food here. The flavours & tastes on the tongue just burst out. Starter of scallops & black pudding, just gorgeous. Main course of duck breast, red cabbage, cherry sauce with real cherries & crushed potatoes was amazingly sublime! We could have ate both again. Dessert of cheesecake, unfortunately a little bit of a let down though as not much flavour to it
Fantastic night at the Redhouse Inn. Friendly staff and a bustling atmosphere (and live entertainment). The new owners have made the place great again. Thank you Andy and Ruth. :-D
Had a lovely meal here again this evening and the food was top notch and absolutely delicious. Our waiter who I believe was called Enrique was welcoming, friendly and very kind. The bill also was very reasonable especially for the food standards.
Only let down was arriving for our booked time and being left for 15 minutes as they did not have the table ready and yet seated several other couples in front of us during these 15 minutes.
Beyond that, couldn't fault the place. Amazingly with how very busy the place was this evening, food arrived quickly without fault.

Took my mum for lunch this week and the food was fantastic at this place! Our server was very attentive although we felt slightly rushed, that's the only complaint! Will definitely be back.
Visited here tonight. Very nicely decorated and very pleasant staff. Good range of food including plenty of Gluten Free options, of which my wife had the Sea Bass. I had the Crispy Duck Pizza. Before delivered very quickly and piping hot. Excellent Service. Would recommend and will be visiting again.
My partner and I visited the red house last Tuesday and were amazed at not only by the quality of food, but also the service, especially Henrique's kindness and good humour, he really made our day. I cannot recommend this place enough! Such a warm and welcoming environment!
Great gluten free options, excellent taste, good food combinations. I had deep fried calamari with chilli, spring onions, followed by deep fried haddock with chunky chips, tartare sauce and mushy peas. There were lots of good gluten free options. We finished the meal with a double espresso which did not disappoint . Too full to check out the desserts. Would recommend for any one requiring gluten free.
Fantastic!! We went as a pre planned party of 12 people and the food was amazing, the service was on point even in this busy place. I highly recommend and will 100% be visiting again for another lovely meal and drinks. Thank you The Red House team for looking after our friends birthday party.
We came as a group of around 30 for a pre-wedding meal. Groups of this size can never be easy but the staff were great- they were attentive and kept us topped up with cutlery and drinks and anything else we needed!
The food was amazing - If I lived locally I'd be back every week because there are so many great options on the menu. I had fried camembert with an apple puree/salad and a spiced honey risotto. Both were spot on, well done guys.

I randomly stumbled across this online yesterday afternoon so decided to book a surprise meal (which was made incredibly easy on their website) for my fiancé and I, we visited yesterday evening and we were blown away by the quality of the food!! We had a few small plates (the crispy duck pancakes, Camembert wedges and hummus which were each perfectly sized to still fit in a main course too!) my partner had the Thai chicken skewers and I had the goats cheese salad which were both lovely and all of the food was served hot and fresh. The atmosphere was relaxed and the service was impeccable, the waiters and waitress’ couldn’t be more helpful and looked after us well. We will definitely be visiting again!! Thank you all at The Red House ☺️
The wife & I visited for our 29th anniversary, from moment we entered we was greeted with a smile and led to our table, they gave us a card for our anniversary and they treated us to a free proseco each, the food was amazing, cooked to perfection and the service was quick and professionally done. It's not the cheapest bill I've ever had, but the Food was worth it
