Friendly, knowledgable staff make this place a very comfortable, relaxing place to eat. There's no pressure, but there's plenty of different kinds of tea to choose from. If I fancy a curry, this is definitely the first place I think of to go to, the portion sizes are very generous and if you can squeeze one in - they have some of the most delicious vegan desserts in Lincoln!
My new favourite place to eat. Such a welcoming, relaxing and warm environment which is something you find rarely these days. Beautifully healthy, homemade food for a fraction of the price compared to other restaurants in the area.
I've tried the Dhaal, Pasanda and Banana Korma and loved them ALL. Such good flavours, especially their homemade coconut chutney which is to die for.
A genuine place with a lot of soul and great for any diet. I'm a meat eater and certainly didn't miss it being at Shanti.
We visited on a Monday lunch time with no need to book. We had the two curry dishes which were tasty and the mac n cheese balls which were really good! Lovely to have a choice of different vegan hot chocolates, smoothies and milkshakes. A lot of choice on the menu. The two ladies working were attentive and polite. Maybe the place lacked a bit of atmosphere but that's only because it was quiet in there. Great to have an all vegan restaurant!
We absolutely love Cafe Shanti, fabulous food, super friendly staff and service and all at a good price. We always visit when we're in Lincoln, best Vegan food around. Definitely recommend Cafe Shanti even if you're not vegan, you won't be disappointed!
Even if you're not vegan, give this cafe a try, the food is delicious 😋.
There's a good selection of snacks, mains, desserts and drinks.
There's a good selection of ice cream, I've tried 2 flavours and they are delicious.
Last time I tried the tofu tikka and it was delicious, it came with a nan bread, poppadom and mango chutney.
This time I had the chilli, delicious too.
The service is fast and friendly.
The portions are a good size and the prices are very reasonable.
I'm looking forward to trying the rest of the menu!
Always welcoming to everyone and such a lovely place to stop and have some really tasty food. The atmosphere is beautiful, food always tastes great, and lots of choice so there's always something new to try! Wonderful cakes each week to look forward to!
Such a cute, cosy, boho atmosphere here and very reasonably priced! I ordered the Mac and Cheeze Balls and a coconut iced latte (pretty sure they do most mull alternatives) and both were delicious. I loved the Balls as they’re something different and unique, as most Vegan Restaurants solely do just burgers it’s nice for a different option.
Staff are lovely and friendly as always, really accommodating and friendly environment. Will definitely be returning h for more of their ice cream and another coffee.
Most diverse food menu ever ?!?! There’s so much choice and it’s completely vegan with the interior being such a cosy, accommodating space.
Our food was incredible - I highly recommend the Shanti burger with a side of cheesy curly fries. The vegan cheese was potentially the best we’ve ever had.
Side note - cash or bank transfer only which we weren’t aware of until going to pay with card. Not a big issue as there is a cash point not too far away but good to know in advance.

Super lovely place, very welcoming. Had a late supper there with my vegan daughter. Fully vegan menu - I had the (not) chicken burger, chips, guacamole dip - and a very minty lemonade. There is a small downstairs area and a newly installed cosy upstairs area which suited us very well.
Super lovely staff and really great food. Were more than happy to change our booking when we needed to. Can't wait to visit again, usually you have to travel further afield to the bigger cities to get vegan food this good so I'm happy Lincoln has Cafe Shanti!
