Quaint tea room with delicious food. Excellent service. I had the afternoon tea or one....pot of tea, Coronation chicken sandwich, crisps, side salad, fruit scone with jam and cream and Orange and Lemon cake. I must admit, it was a little too much so the staff boxed the cake up for me to take home. A nice treat!

We stumbled across this little gem of a tea room today and fell in love with the place. A charming little tea room filled with character and lovely, attentive staff. Food was fresh and delicious and we will definitely be returning soon highly recommend!

Walking up the well-known steep hill up to the old Lincoln town, we found this quirky little cafe/ tea room. Once you step inside, it feels like you entered a different British era, and it feels very nostalgic, including all the waitresses who are dressed up from that period. And they were very attentive, polite, and friendly. The food was nice and the atmosphere was great. From Soups to Sandwiches to Cream Tea, they have it all along with hot and cold drinks. Reasonably priced and decent portions.

We visited Bunty's Tea Rooms after a hard couple of hours walking Lincoln Castle one recent Saturday afternoon. One has to refresh oneself appropriately, doesn't one?! Bunty's is tiny, with not enough space to swing a cat. Never mind, the space was sufficient to inhale cream teas - see photos. The scones were incredibly light, like they'd just been baked 10 minutes before we got there. One of our party had a gluten-free scone, and she reported that even that was light. I appreciated the chinaware as well. In all, my evaluation: yum!

I've been wanting to try Bunty's Tea Room for a long time & I wasn't disappointed during my 1st visit. The premises are very cosy with just 5 tablles on the ground floor which are on 2different levels ,Theres a staircase to the rear along with a single toilet so im guessing theres table availability upstairs . I found the Staff on duty to be very pleasant, who provide table service to place your order .The menu itself does have a good choice of hot & cold drinks along with great variety of food options .My order being Orange juice , Pot of Tea for 1 ,Cheese Salad sandwich on brown bread with crisps & coleslaw included and Cheese on white toast with Worcester Sauce in a pot.Great to see traditional ceramic tea pots being used .Anyway I really enjoyed my experience here & im looking forward to a return visit to possibly try Coffee & Cake or an Afternoon tea ! Cash or card payments are accepted at the till. I do recommend a visit here, long as you can make it up Steep Hill !

Way cute tea room in a neat 1940s style! I had a smooth americano coffee and a tasty cheese and chutney sandwich. The speedy and attentive staff also found me a table with a plug socket which was very helpful of them. Clean loos too!

Came here during a visit to Lincoln and after a long walk around the castle. The space inside is tiny but with a 1940’s aesthetic they really do amazingly with the little space they have. The staff were incredibly nice and attentive. The food was amazing, my group had an afternoon tea. The scones were really light and fluffy, a big portion of freshly made cake, and great sandwiches. They gave us one wrong type of sandwich by mistake but when they realised they brought out the correct one for no extra charge. One person in our group is gluten free and they had a great gluten free selection which you often don’t find in cafes and restaurants. If you can manage going up and down Steep Hill I highly recommend coming here on a trip into Lincoln city centre!

Near the top of steep hill, a cute place with wartime memorabilia and music. Thought we might have to wait but only the two of us meant that we were seated upstairs straight away. Afternoon tea was a must... got to choose what sandwiches you wanted and a slice of cake from a selection (coffee and walnut). And we had a nice pot of tea in proper cups and saucers, it was fabulous and we were stuffed... excellent value for money and the team were lovely.

Afternoon tea for me and my daughter. My daughter has coeliac disease and hardly eats out because of the danger of cross contamination which would make her ill . What a fantastic place. Lovely lady and daughter who run it. No contamination here!!!! The lady owner is so passionate about giving everyone the best experience and the best food freshly baked. My daughter was able to have her own 'stand' which was gluten free , prepared completely separate to mine. Thank you so much, it was amazing.

Bunty's provided our wedding cakes and they were so supportive and understanding when our wedding was cancelled twice due to covid! We finally had our wedding and the cakes were beautifully presented and so tasty too! Everyone was raving about them. Thank you so much to Faye.
