Went here on Sunday, the roast was amazing, beef cooked to perfection, and the gravy was to die for - little details you very rarely see. The host and hostess VJ and Mauve were very welcoming. Overall was a knockout surprise stopping here on the off chance. Will definitely return when in the area.
Delicious food. Friendly hosts. Went there for a wonderful Sunday lunch, perfectly cooked beef. Returned the next evening for their delicious curry. Would recommend without hesitation.

Fabulous! Run by a lovely couple and the food is wonderful. Child friendly and there is a varied menu, including curries and the best samosas I've ever had - and all home made.
Friendliest, nicest landlord and landlady of any pub I've ever been in (and I've been in many!). Really really great food, made on site from scratch. Truly a hidden gem. Support this local pub!
Second meal here . 1st meal roast beef dinner and home made puds was great . Lamb dinner was next plus puds was also 1st class landlord and his wife are very welcoming .
My only complaint is I will be making the long trip to return again and again and again......thanks to Maive and Veejay. Cannot fault the lamb Sunday dinner.
