Popped in for a beer 🍺 as was dropping off my daughter home in the village . Was welcomed with a lovely local chap of many years sat at the bar and the landlord stood behind the bar with a friendly greeting and prompt service. Must say very nice interior and cosy feel 😊 Had a lovely beer and chat and look forward to going back to try their food 😀

Went here on Sunday, the roast was amazing, beef cooked to perfection, and the gravy was to die for - little details you very rarely see. The host and hostess VJ and Mauve were very welcoming. Overall was a knockout surprise stopping here on the off chance. Will definitely return when in the area.

We were at The Hume on Saturday, Sunday and Monday evening last weekend. We had fantastic food. Vijay makes excellent Indian dinners - exceedingly tasty and well presented. He and Maeve are lovely Landlord and Landlady. The pub was not busy as it seems the locals don't frequent often, but we were delighted with the atmosphere and the ambience of the pub. We were made very welcome and have been in the past similarly. We would heartily recommend visiting this Pub : it's excellent and the food is delicious.
