What a fantastic pub. Very friendly service. Lovely beer. Much needed refreshments after walking up the steep hill. Great outdoor area facing the castle. Will definitely go again and will have food next time.

Extremely busy place, great location, brilliant atmosphere. The place was buzzing when we went. Prices not too bad either considering where it is.

Lovely staff and it’s an awesome pub for letting dogs in and giving our puppy a Biscuit and the food is amazing I went for the bbq pulled pork which was in the light bites but there was plenty. I had to have help to finish it off I just love the fact that dogs can come in brilliant pub

After a superb refit this pub is just as good as it was before but better and has more seating.not tried the food yet but that's next on my list.

Since the refurb this place has become the place to be! Great pint and quality ales. Food was a quality and direct menu. Just right for the place. And great to see them bringing another dimension of live music to the city in the shape of some fantastic well known bands bravo 👏
