I love department stores, to lose these stores is due to online shopping. To shop at places like Debenhams was so special. The atmosphere with beautiful smells of their perfumes, the staff so smart and helpful. It is a tragedy we are losing them. Especially for people who don't shop online
This Debenhams is very large and has everything your typical department store has, including clothing, make-up, toys, home accessories etc. I personally really liked the home accessories but everything else was just a bit too expensive for me.
Always a good range of stuff, clothing sales are good you can usually pick up a bargain. Fragrances are a plenty, coffee shop on the 2nd floor is spacious and views over the city.
Only downside is a few members of staff, i had a backpack on to carry our shopping and 2 members of staff decided to follow me and my wife around the perfume section until i made it clear she was pregnant and i have a bad leg they finally backed off!
Quality at good prices, staff always polite, friendly and helpful. Good shopping experience Good parking close by.
Store looking much better recently, with some decent stock and brands back in. I hope it survives, both as a brand and in Lincoln.
Staff friendly and informative on entering, great to see, still doing meet at doors n sanitiser were you can see it.
Not like alot of places.
Relaxing as shopping and nice cafe.
I was very impressed with the way debenhams are coping with the virus. I was particularly impressed that we could sanitise our hands going out, which isnt normal for every shop
Nice little store, but please consider turning the store music down. At the cashpoint the member of staff is trying to speak to me whilst I have to stand on a circle away from the counter. They have a mask on and are behind a perspex screen, so I'm struggling to hear what you're trying to tell me because the piped music is so loud.
