Gordi's Fish & Steak House

My fiancé and I are visiting Franconia for Foliage and staying @ Mittersill. We met friends for lunch here and had reservations for noon today (9/30/23). Greeted warmly and promptly. Sat @ a large booth for plenty of room. Big plus is both sides are opened. If one had to “powder their nose”, they didn’t have to inconvenience the other person to let them in/out. Onto the lunch and beverage orders, our server didn’t pressure us. He gave us ample time to decide. I ordered the Balsamic Chicken Caprese sandwich ($15.99) and it was SCRUMPTIOUS!!! 😋 It came with a choice of side dish, I selected on the rice pilaf. My fiancé ordered the BLT (price unknown) and our friends ordered a Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad (Price unknown) each. Service was ok. I needed a refill and never received one. Fortunately I wasn’t really thirsty and I did have a glass of water. Great restaurant and very decorative!

Can't say enough about Gordi's.... we rolled into Lincoln on vacation and saw this place on main Street. Parking lot was packed we thought no way we ever get a table but they seated us as soon as we got in the door. Ann our waitress was Great at helping us order and everything. Now for the food review.....HOME RUN !!!!! Every dinner my family had was EXCELLENT... and I mean EXCELLENT. My sister had the chicken parmesan . Her husband had NY strip and me and my wife had the rib eye. Digging into our meals we all looked at each other and said I think this is the best I've ever had "" thank you Goridi and staff for giving us a great meal and experience while on our vacation..

Loooooove this place!!! The only bad thing about it is when they're full and it happens often because it's a great place. Literally sounds like Massachusetts on the weekends in there which is why we go during the week. You can't go wrong with the bourbon marinated steak tips! It's got to be close to 20 years now we've been going here and will continue to whenever we are in the area.

Called the day before to try to make reservations, but no answer (they must have been busy). So we ventured over for an early dinner the next day, a few minutes before opening. We were seated right away and immediately brought bread and ordered drinks. Our spinach artichoke dip was delicious, as was the seafood trio, meatloaf and chicken parm. My youngest ordered chicken tenders, and I was surprised at how many came with his meal and how crispy they were. He was very impressed with his chocolate ice cream for dessert too… as was I with my carrot cake. Server was very attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back.

Really enjoyed our experience here. Ski lodge vibe. After a long day hiking, we came in early and the server was so pleasant and attentive. Food came out fast and was very tasty. Bread service (not pictured) was fresh and yummy. Portions were great. You could eat here every night while in Lincoln and never run out of food options.
