Nachos Mexican Grille

Food was simply amazing 👏 bravo. I think the owner/server was beat, I get it long day. We are done. But no offense, I can pick any restaurant in the world I chose yours. The food was superb, great flavor, I got the three amigos which was a great amount of food. Overall, I would recommend this establishment, treat everyone like your first customer tho. Cheers 🍻

If you like real Mexican food, not Americanized chain fare, give them a try! I usually comb google for reviews and compile a list of “possibilities” for every trip we take. Because of that, this place was not on my list. We ended up there after two that were on the list had hour long wait times for dinner and we just wanted a quick bite to eat before heading back to our motel to relax. I spotted the place, said, “hey, they’re open and it doesn’t look busy” and we headed in. The place is very clean, I immediately noticed and loved the 50s diner style tables and booths. They have a small but well stocked bar and a simple but adequate menu. There’s standard Mexican fare and also an entire page of burger options. As we ate, I realized the issue behind the negative reviews: they were likely from people who think a certain chain of sit down Mexican restaurants are actually “authentic” or, even, good. This restaurant is not an Americanized, dolled up version of Mexican cuisine—it is fresh, delicious, authentic Mexican food. If you’re the type of person to visit Mexico and never leave your resort, this likely isn’t for you. If you’re like us and prefer to find restaurants in Mexico by asking your cab driver where he eats lunch, so you can get real food that isn’t just hyped up tourist fare, you’ll enjoy having a meal here.
