Jersey Mike's Subs

I’ve been coming in here a lot for years now, hell I was even an employee at one point. Every time I come in here they are very nice and well trained. The team has upgraded a lot in the last 6 months, shout-out to Amber and Paula for running a great store. Onions, lettuce, tomato, red wine vinegar. Olive oil, oregano and just a dash of salt. J mikes for life.

Any Jersey Mike's we have eaten at has always been excellent. Whether in San Antonio, TX or here in Lincoln, Nebraska. The only reason I gave them a 4 star is because I had to receive banana peppers on my Philly cheesesteak sandwich instead. I have taken into consideration many different scenarios as to why they were out of the bell peppers. Still a great establishment to eat at.

Update: (7/23/18)So I went back to try them again because as with any restaurant they can have bad days depending on the workers. Well there was two gentlemen there that were really nice. They explained what come on the sandwiches I picked. Handwashing was done and clean gloves were being used properly. My sandwiches were so good! Old post:Food is decent although sometimes the bread seems a bite stale. My other issue is that they are not quick to change gloves after doing other things with them such as ringing up food or touching other non food items. Staff is always really nice though.

Had coupon for a deal if you get three giant sandwiches. Turns out giant is an accurate term. They were massive and stuffed to bursting. Staff was nice, but really hard to understand over shop noise. Make sure to check what the Mike's way is before agreeing to it... especially you picky eaters. Although a small shop, it has indoor and outdoor seating. You can apparently also join the shore club and earn free sandwiches.

I’ve been to Jersey Mike’s a couple of times on O Street here in Lincoln and every single time that I’ve gone and the employees have been so rude. There’s been times when I’ve tried to call and nobody has answered and I drive to the store and there was no customers in there. The only reason I decided to try this place was because my fiancé was a fan but I will no longer take my money to this place as the employees are so terrible to the customers. I’m not sure what their problem is but they have horrible attitudes and my sandwiches were very poorly made. At first I thought it was just the employees that were there the first couple of times but I guess it’s just every employee that works at this specific location. I would rather take my money to Subway and next time I will be trying Firehouse subs and hope that their sandwiches are good and their customer service is better!
