Tugboat Fish & Chips

Love, love, love Tugboat! Excellent fried seafood selections and the sushi is awesome too (try the Happy roll). It is family owned and operated - mom, dad, and son do it all - and they have unbeatable prices. Been coming here for years! It's in a hidden and rather nondescript location, but check them out it's definitely worth it.

Awesome fish and chips at a great price. Noticed Tugboat as we drove past, turned around, walked in the door a placed an order. 15 mins later it was brought out to the car where we waited. I've had fish and chips from all over the country, this was top of the list grub. The only thing that I didn't get with it was my go to malt vinegar, which would have been a deal breaker if the food and service hadn't been so good. Next time I guess I'll have to ask for it.

Not 1 grain of salt was put on our fish, chips, onion rings or hush puppies. The tartar sauce tastes like half mayo half yellow mustard with nothing else. All I taste is crunchy fryer oil. We bought $50 worth of food and I regret every dollar. Bummer. I'll give 2 bonus stars because at least the fish was crunchy, bravo.
