Wow!! What can I say about this fabulous establishment. My best friends had their wedding here on Saturday, the venue and staff blew me out the water with how they had decorated the venue, going above and beyond with all the extras, the garden looked stunning! The service was brilliant, the staff were attentive and lovely. Big thank you to Chris with all the help for the cake and other bits, legend! Bar staff were superb and the catering/service staff too. Food was sooo good! Nothing was too much. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone, staff were all friendly, food spot on. We even went back for a roast on Sunday…10/10! We live 40 mins away and don’t drive but will be making it back up for a rosy for sure!! Big thank you to Debbie, Chris and the team. An absolute credit and incredible pub/venue

One of the best roast dinners around. Turned up few hours before, as there is a nice walk you can go on. Came back , originally table was booked for inside, asked if it was ok to eat outside the front , where there is ample seating and tables. They said it was absolutely fine to do that. Roast beef dinner was amazing! Every single part of the dinner was bursting with separate flavours! Probably one of the best roast dinners in the area! Worth every penny, some would say it's expensive at 20 pound, but not when you get that kind of quality, it's worth the money! Lonely old pub too, with low ceilings and wood beams , massive garden area with cool long wooden benches for this bigger groups.

Lovely place with a cosy atmosphere inside. Plenty of seating available and dog friendly (even having a supply of dog biscuits available at the bar) Staff are amazing and very knowledgeable. We ordered some burgers, and they were very fresh and top quality produce used and cooked to order. The prices are brilliant for what you get if anything pricing is cheaper than expected. Definitely recommend

Father’s Day one of the busy days of the year, we turned up for our table which was very smartly dressed for a member of the family’s birthday plus Father’s Day!! Amazing looked fab!! We had our lunch which I have to say when dad finishes a meal completely is saying something ! And mum she was happy 😀😃😀 All was good then went out side to see a really cool jazz band playing in the garden. Dam amazing we ended up staying for additional drinks which meant a walk up the hill but was really worth doing, family happy and an enjoyable Father’s Day Can’t remember the starters name but a taco maybe Venison maybe was amazing

Visited on their Tuesday burger night which is excellent value for money, 2 x burgers for £16 and you could choose from beef / buttermilk chicken / halloumi. They also had a selection of specials which all looked good. We had one beef and one chicken burger and both were delicious, only downside was the skinny fries were a little too crispy. Servers were polite but not particularly attentive. The venue is beautiful and has plenty of comfortable seats both inside and outside. Plenty of parking and definitely worth a visit if you are visiting Liphook.

We had my Father’s 80th birthday lunch here on a busy Sunday lunchtime in December. The staff couldn’t have been more attentive or thoughtful and the food was absolutely excellent. The table had been decorated for us and we were made to feel very welcome and not at all rushed. Service was amazing and the whole experience was a delight. Thank you so much.
