My definitive stop everything I'm home in Lisburn to see family.
Seems like I buy half the shop each time, and it's my little piece of heaven and home when back in Manchester when having a fry etc.

Local bakery. Plenty of takeaway sweet pastries and a small cafeteria style eat-in with a selection of savouries. Everything about it is function over form.

Always great bread and cakes. Staff are friendly, great service and delicious products. We always enjoy their wheaten bread and their big thin pancakes, even if they are not as big as they used to be lol. (everywhere is the same these days) They also have a small cafe serving coffee and tea and lunches, worth a try. Certainly recommended Mackeys.

Staff are friendly and helpful. The bakery side of the food is all delicious and their wee cafe the staff are friendly and welcoming and the food is delicious. We love going there when we are in Lisburn. Their fries even have wheaten on them.

I've been going to Mackeys for years just for pastries and traybakes, but finally tried the sit-in cafe for breakfast and WOW, it was incredible!! The prices are really competitive and the coffee is great! I had the cooked breakfast which had egg, sausage, bacon, fried wheaten, pancake, Soda bread and potato bread. It was amazing!! Everything was so fresh and tasty. Definitely recommend it for a nice wee place in Lisburn!!

We went to the cafe within the bakery, the staff were very friendly. It's obvious that there are plenty of regulars which to me is a great sign that local people enjoy the place.
The food was good albeit there was a wait but again worth it as it's cooked as required as opposed to sitting under a heat lamp.
