Nice simple walk on a clear day, saw the Cheesewring and were able to go right up to it, totally amazing it still stands the rocks appear to have been placed but it is erosion. There are 2 stone circles and horses cows and sheep roam freely

Just nice, relatively unspoiled moorland with interesting rocks and an old quarry. Lots of cows, goats, horses and sheep roaming. Can be a bit wet and marshy in places and windy at the top. Great to see how the rocks have weathered.

Outstanding windswept granite piles, plus you pass the stone circle formations at Minions on the way through..

Awesome views! From the parking place it's quite an easy walk up and the views are magnificant. Absolutely worth it, and it's nice to have all the animals around you during the walk.

Lovely wide open space flooded in history,such an interesting enjoyable walk

Historical gem of the Cornish highlands, from the neolithic to the industrial age and the post industrial landscape there today. The final crane positions of the quarrymen and the train tracks that used to haul the granite are still visible.

Great place to walk. Every time we come we see something new or take a different path. Can get windy but plenty of places to shelter.

Plenty of free parking in the town, breathtaking views from the top of the hill, lovely walks and refreshing baths in the quarry lakes. All of this within only a few square miles, just outside Minions 15 minutes from the A38. We thoroughly enjoy visiting every time, love the sheep and the cows but be mindful of the wasps tho, there are loads here for some reason.
