Visited The Fat Frog today, was absolutely superb! Had a lovely friendly welcome by the owner and the waitress. They were very attentive, polite and happy. Compliments to the owner, staff and the chef! Food was excellent quality, hot and the service was faultless. Thank you all at The Fat Frog. Highly recommend.

Not air conditioned, but a great choice of well presented food. Atmosphere is relaxed. Excellent thickshakes today that cooled us right down when mid to high 20s Celsius.

This place is a little gem.
We visited on Sunday afternoon with our three children. We were surprised to find it open especially on a bank holiday Sunday.
The staff could not be more helpful and friendly. We were seated quickly although it was busy and we hadn't booked in advance. The milkshakes were divine (strawberry and chocolate) and the coffee (flat white) was perfect.
I had eggs bendedict which was cooked to perfection, my children chose various options from the kids menu. We asked if we could tweak various items- nothing was too much trouble.
There was a really lovely atmosphere amongst staff and other diners.
The blonde lady in particular, who I'm assuming was the owner, was exceptionally wonderful.
Dietary requirements and allergies were also checked when ordering which I'd never encountered before.

Everytime I've come here the food has been perfect. Perfectly cooked and tastes great! One of the best burgers I've ever eaten, and I'm a burger man!

I've not reviewed here for a couple of years but it's the best casual dining experience in Liskeard.
More than a cafe, it's a warm welcoming environment with outstanding customer service and piping hot quality food cooked fresh to order. All of the well trained front of house staff are very aware of allergens (the menus also have allergen info) and are able to offer up alternate choices. Further reassurances and clarity can be sought from Mark and Jo, the Owners.
I have a coeliac sufferer in the family and we have always been extremely well catered for and have no hesitation in recommending The Fat Frog Liskeard.
My personal favourites on the menu would have to be the delicious barista coffee and the Builders Bap with the baguette upgrade.
