Excellent food prepared and served by friendly and welcoming staff. The atmosphere is excellent with a fresh modern dining area along with a comfy giant sofa in a reception/bar room where you can relax to finish off the evening chatting with family and friends. Highly recommend anyone to visit and enjoy. It won’t be too long until I return the next time.

Had our works Christmas do in the upstairs function room last night and my sisters baby shower a couple of months ago. Both times were great! The room is done lovely and the food is brilliant! Great service from friendly and helpful staff too. Would deffo recommend! �

Just visited with our good friends, we each traveled one hour away as a meeting point. Such a lovely friendly place, the staff were excellent and so kind. The food was very good, especially the sticky toffee pudding. Would highly recommend. We will be back again. Thank you for a lovely lunch Green Door!.

I really wanted to give this place 5 stars but there were just one or two things I felt that could have been improved on.The service was excellent I could not fault the attentive waiters. The desserts were delicious and the meat served with the main course was very well cooked. I have to say the veg that was served with the main course was below the standard I would have expected for a restaurant serving dishes at this price. The potatoes broccoli and carrots were underdone or had been sitting in a dish waiting to be served for several hours. The other problem was that in the bar waiting area there was a vacuum cleaner and an unused stand fan cluttering up the place. All in all good but a little extra effort needed for me to really recommend this place.

Excellent meal with well-cooked, good quality fresh ingredients. Unusually, most of the desserts are homemade, including the pavlova and creme brulee so top marks for going the extra mile. Good value and the Early Bird menu also includes a glass of wine so for £19.95 for three courses you can't go wrong. Will definitely go again and feel I could confidently recommend.

Had a great experience at the Green Door today. A party of 13 children and 15 adults and we couldn't have been better looked after. We had a lovely function room upstairs to ourselves and the menu suited everyone. The staff were great and really looked after us and most important...the food was excellent. Everything came out piping hot and was delicious. What more can you say? We will be back. Thank you all at the Green Door.

We had a function in the upstairs room, with the restaurant menu. The staff were fantastic, customer service was great. The room has lovely decor, the management were so accommodating with our needs. The menu is very well priced. I'd highly recommend and we'll definitely be back.
