    I’ve never been able to make any kind of criticism on this place , every visit has been perfect. The staff are always lovely and so welcoming and the food is always so fresh and delicious . Highly recommend the arancini to start , it’s the best you will ever have. Great gin and cocktail selection too ! Can’t go wrong !

    Had a fantastic lunch at this charming restaurant. We were greeted warmly when we arrived and immediately knew we’d made a good choice in booking here. The menu had so many delicious choices it really was difficult to make a decision. I had aranchini, which was the best I’ve ever tasted, and my sister had rare beef salad which she loved. Milanese chicken and lasagne for mains which were equally as delicious. Portions are very generous so we couldn’t fit in a dessert, although from what we saw other diners ordering they looked delicious. The staff were very attentive and seemed genuinely interested in what we thought of the food and drink choices. Our first visit here but we have already arranged to return with friends.

    Went for a birthday meal 3 generations together Nan Mum and Daughter ♥️ Everything was perfect 👌🏻 The Restaurant entrance was beautifully designed to give a welcoming effect with sparkly lights. The decor inside was equally lovely 😊 We had requested a window table and was kindly given the seating. The service was outstanding even thou it was very busy. The family run restaurant is 💯 exception 👍🏻 Nina one of the daughters was so friendly and professional as were the rest of the staff members. The menu was a variety of dishes all prepared with freshly produce. The original menu with daily specials as an additional menu. Spoilt for choice as we wanted to try them all! We started with all sharing platter and bread olives. Huge portions delicious and presentation mouth watering (photos to follow 😘) Mains 2 lots of Seabass and one chicken dish DELICIOUS 😋 again generous meal cooked to perfection. Wines went Down well 🍷 We were too full for desert but couldn’t resist Gabriella’s Chocolate Brownie with Ice Cream My Oh My so happy we did the tastes were amazing 😉 Would Highly Recommend this Gorgeous Place booking advised as always very busy and popular.     Visited yesterday for lunch to celebrate my Sister's birthday. My Sister has visited before and said how good it was, and my mum, Daughter and I were very impressed. The surroundings are warm and cosy. The staff are excellent and serve in an efficient yet relaxed and friendly manner. martin really looked after us. The food was absolutely delicious, lovely ingredients and very generous portions. I will definitely be returning. Thank you Vincenzo!

    I have visited this restaurant on only two previous occasions since its opening a few years ago, and it has been a pleasing experience but not quite good enough to make me want to visit regularly. However, something has changed here more recently because last night's meal was spectacular. The food was one of the best meals We have ever had. Arancini balls and sardines to start were fresh and cooked to perfection, then the sea bass and prawn linguini to follow was superb. The ice cream with amaretto and coffee to finish was a delight (absolutely amazing coffee by the way) and I loved the fresh mint tea. The vibe in the restaurant had a real buzz and the service was perfect - attentive and friendly, just the right balance. We will definitely become regular visitors now as a result. I don't know what kind od change has been made, whether there's a new chef or management, but Vincenzo has hit upon something truly special here. Fantastico!!

    First visit here tonight. Service was 10 out of 10 from start to finish. Very attentive staff, knowledgable about food and wine. The food was excellent, wine was fabulous but the service really made it! Will absolutely be back, well done all!

    A lovely venue in Woolton. The place has a great atmosphere and a relaxed homely decor. Then menu was good, although only 1 option for vegans in the pasta choices and 2 for veggies. The starters were fab! My cousin raved about the calamari, so I’d recommend that. I didn’t order a starter as I spotted some desserts coming out and thought I’d save myself for that instead! Only stickler- the end of service, our waiter asked if we would like any coffees etc. I requested the dessert menu, when I was promptly told that I could have a look but the table needed to be given back within 10-15 minutes. I was completely shocked! We arrived on time, didn’t take long placing our orders yet as we’d had the table for nearly 2 hours, we couldn’t have a dessert. It wasn’t our fault the kitchen/service was slow to our table. The manager came over to smooth over the situation- a very friendly, helpful man. However, the option of dessert was never on the cards. A shame really as everything else was great. I’m sure it was a one-off, however definitely something that needs to be rectified in terms of the communication between waiters- kitchen-management.

    Absolutely love the food here, always amazing. Staff are fantastic. We had friends with us , which one of them had a lot of allergies. She had sent over a list of everything she couldn’t eat and Nina went out of her way to make sure that her meal was prepped properly. Her meal arrived and she said was amazing. Thank you so much, as it does deem very difficult for her to dine out, but Vincenzo went above & beyond. That is what you call excellent service.

    My friends and I came here on a busy Friday night and were welcomed warmly and shown to our table. Our server, Ed went through the menu with us and happily answered my thousands of questions. He couldn’t have been more attentive and helpful. I went with his recommendation of the pan fried scallops to begin with and the Tournedos Rossini. Each dish was simply sublime. I also ordered the Montepulciano which was delicious. My friends ordered a couple of the gins as well and the choices were fantastic. The food and drink were faultless which would be difficult to beat if it wasn’t for the service. Ed really was great. The owner was here there and everywhere seeing to people and making sure all of the guests were enjoying their time. Fabulous food, fantastic service and the perfect evening. Amazing place and I could not recommend it enough to anybody. I can’t wait to come back!

    Visited last night for a birthday meal. Didn’t catch his name but our server was excellent and was very pleasant in attending to our every need. We had the Chateaubriand which at £55 for two people is worth every penny. Cooked to perfection and served with truffle fries, salad and garlic spinach. Was accompanied perfectly with a bottle of the Nero Di Trolla. Look forward to our next visit

    After thousands of recommendations for this gorgeous little spot from friends me and my boyfriend decided to book Cucina Di Vincenzo for our 2 year anniversary; and it did not disappoint!! We booked a few days in advance and got a table for 7pm. Upon arrival a lovely hostess showed us to our tables in the more intimate upstairs area: the whole place was decorated lovely for the festivities and we felt very welcomed and comfortable. A lovely waiter called Alex (lots of brownie points for him) looked after us all night, with excellent red wine recommendations. The food came quick and was absolutely divine; 2 of the starter specials crab cakes and Nduja sausage and mozzarella bruschetta, and for the mains I had the chefs special Seafood Linguine and by boyfriend had the steak and potatoes. I could not fault the food in any way and the service was perfectly attentive and friendly. Definitely check this spot out in Woolton/Allerton, we had a perfect evening.

    Simply delicious food, prepared and cooked wonderfully!! This isn't just a typical Italian. It's memorable food that makes you want one more bite if not multiple more bites! The fritto misto starter (which really is for 2 people) was delicately crisp on the outside and super soft seafood on the inside. The chicken liver pate was lovely and smooth and super tasty. The lobster ravioli was the stand out dish of the evening. Generous amounts of lobster inside large ravioli topped with the best sauce I've ever had with any pasta based dish! I could eat the sauce with a spoon! It's that good!! Must get dish. I wish it was twice the size!! The tiramisu was pretty heavy on the cream but was still good! The parmesan truffle fries could do with a bit more truffle but these chips stay crispy even if after they've sat out for a while which was pleasantly surprising! Upon personal request from one of our party, the staff and chefs were able to make a specific clams in linguine dish and I've been told it was brilliantly made and tasted great! Superb hospitality and general service!! Alex who was out main server was particularly excellent!! My new favourite Italian in the city!! Can't wait to reserve my next table and come back to eat here again! Wow!

    Constantly high quality, well worth every penny. Top quality ingredients, perfectly cooked , and top service. All the waiters are efficient, very friendly and knowledgeable. We always visit Vincenzo's with my daughter and husband when visiting Liverpool and I can't praise it enough. Wines are fairly priced and good quality for the money. Martin served us yesterday, a really great guy who loves his job and place of work which is so good to hear these days. Have visited 5 or 6 times now, for lunch and dinner and would highly recommend this restaurant in all aspects, So great when the quality is so consistent. Recommended dishes , Halibut, fabulous Wagu steak and the seafood linguine. Congrats to owner, chefs and waiting staff, !!! You have everything spot on, don't change a thing!

    Visited this popular restaurant again last night with friends. (Previous visit was August 2019) Our table was upstairs on the 1st floor this visit. Warm welcome from the waiter (sorry didn't get his name) Drinks orders taken and bottles of (tap) water (our request) were delivered to our table promptly. The waiter kindly said he understood we were a group of friends with a lot of catching up to do so he said he’d give us a few minutes to settle into our seats, have a quick chat and then he’d take our food orders. This was really appreciated as so often in other restaurants i have felt rushed into picking my food options. Here we were able to peruse the menu together and discuss between friends what items on the menu we’d prefer and decide whether to select from the main menu or speciality menu. We opted for the bushetta, pate, soup and ravioli as our starters... all served without a long delay... and each plate soon emptied. For our mains, we selected sea bass, pork medallions, and rib eye steak from main menu plus a steak from the speciality menu. 2nd drinks orders taken and soon the mains arrived. Each nicely presented and tasted delicious... and the portion sizes were just right as hardly any food left on any of the plates. One of our group had ordered fries and we each enjoyed sampling a few from the separate bowl they came in. We all declined the offer of the chefs tempting desserts menu... not because we didn't like anything on the menu... but purely because we were all full from our starters and mains. We had been in the restaurant 3 hours and during that time we had had the most enjoyable dining experience. Well done to the chef and staff at the cucina di vincenzo... thank you for another great visit ... we’ll be back again soon

    group of 6 of us went on a busy midweek night. sat close to the door but that wasn't a problem. service really good, personable and efficient. all thoroughly enjoyed our meals, one of the best steaks i've had for a while and i'm quite fussy! puddings were delicious as well. mozzarella for starter was lovely as well. felt very home made. will definitely visit again

    This restaurant is probably the best Italian restaurant in Liverpool! The food is delicious and the portions are generous. The staff are attentive and knowledgeable. We will definitely be going again soon.

    Service from all the staff with a smile, really friendly. Great table for 9 of us and we’re not rushed even thought busy Xmas period. Fritto Misto pate scallops for starters where amazing and plentiful. Main dishes equally delicious it was difficult to choose will just have to go again and can’t wait 😊
