Visited Roski for the second time and again everything was outstanding. Dined with my Mum who had never experienced a tasting menu before. She was in her element. It's hard to say what we enjoyed the most as every single course was amazing. All of the staff were friendly and attentive throughout. The wine pairings with each course matched perfectly. Thank you to Roski for another great dining experience
This is without a doubt the best meal I've ever had. The menu was superb. Every dish was delicious from start to finish. The depth of flavour in the courses was second to none.
The food was complimented by the wonderful service. The staff were knowledgeable and happy to help. Special mention to the sommelier who answered all our questions and showed his passion for the wine throughout.
It's definitely a place for a special occasion. The full tasting menu and wine pairing was expensive but well worth it. Fantastic experience from start to finish.
An exceptional dining experience! The evening tasting menu is well balanced and full of flavours. Staff are welcoming and friendly.
Fabulous experience. We hadn’t been in a couple of years but came back for a special occasion and were treated to a spectacular meal. The cabbage bolognaise was our highlight!
Fabulous food.. service and wines all excellent! The dessert is such fun!
Amazing food and impeccable service! The red cabbage bolognese was delicious!
Firstly the reservation process was very easy even got a text message confirming my reservation.
The welcome of staff as you enter in the 8 table restaurant is warm and friendly.
Then the food 😋 😌 is absolutely 💯 awesome. From the freshly baked bread to dessert all very in depth flavours flow though .
Thankyou to all the staff for an amazing experience. Filippo. And all the chefs compliments. See again soon
At the moment, everyone dining here in the evening is on the tasting menu. Arriving early, the music mix is a bit intrusive, but fades into the background as the restaurant fills. Staff are attentive without being too intrusive, and the sommelier's presentation was nicely judged.
I don't generally like Marmite, but the sourdough with Marmite butter is lovely, and they happily replenished it throughout the meal. The first couple of dishes (the chef's take on carbonara and an asparagus dish with curried salad cream) and the pre-dessert/dessert were the highlights of the meal. The flavour balance and textures were fantastic. On the fish dishes, the stone bass was a bit lacking in flavour while the scallop (which was huge) dish was overpowered by the broth. The main of rabbit was nicely done, being moist and I particularly enjoyed the nugget and ragout. Having ordered coffee, we were also presented with petit fours.
Overall, an accomplished meal, but a little uneven in parts.
We booked for our special sapphire wedding anniversary having read about this restaurant in the Telegraph recently. It did not disappoint us and we will remember the experience for a very long time......not quite as long as another sapphire 45 years unless we live to be 105 + The food was unbelievable, the ambience very relaxing and the staff were so knowledgeable welcoming and reassuring.
Amazing food, ambience and service. Highly recommended.
Had the 3 course lunch set menu which was incredible value for the quality of the dishes.
The “roski martini” was probably the best martini I have ever had. The sommelier was kind enough to give me the recipe
The bread was great with a lovely caramelised onion butter.
The quail amuse-bouche was simply divine. Was very light and airy with an incredible flavour.
The cod with ponzu was wonderful.
The whole lemon sole main was great but perhaps a bit lacking in seasoning.
The peaches & cream was fantastic but the “biscuit” was a bit dry and felt stale.
The service was incredible and the wine recommendations were great and very fairly priced. The set menu, martini, 2 glasses of wine and 1 dessert wine plus service came up to about £105 which was very fair, compared to all the dishes and quality.
The only thing I didn’t get was the music selection. It went from 60s soul to 80s. Maybe it’s a Liverpool thing as another Michelin recommended restaurant I went to also had similar music.
All in all, highly recommended
