The kebabs (adana + shish) were so full of flavour. Sarma was incredible as well. The lamb shank was so tender and juicy, a heaven for a meat lover. Absolutely enjoyed 👌

Definitely the best breakfast I had. We have been few times niw and the food was alway excellent. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the furniture is comfortable. We will be definitely going back.
The Turkish breakfast they served is OK, but all their menu is very similar to each other, just a bit of a name change of the items.
I would suggest them to add some other Breakfast related items as well, like waffles and pancakes, etc. Apart from that, it's a good place for Turkish Breakfast Lovers and also specifically for Cheese Lovers as most of the items are served with cheese. The prices are reasonable.

Visited here for my husbands birthday. We had a table for 9, its a good job 2 of the family were not able to come as the seating area didn't have adequate space for 9 people.
It's a very popular restaurant. My honest opinion of our experience was the food was amazing, the service was not good. The staff were slow coming to take our orders. When we sat down we waited at least 30 minutes before the waiter came to take our orders and drinks orders at the same time.
The food came quite quickly , but the service wasn't up to scratch. Waiters slow taking plates away, had to ask a few times.
Having said that I've rated the restaurant on the food quality. 3 of us had lamb chops, 2 had ribs,1 had Adana kofta, 1 had chicken shish, the food comes with bowls of salad and rice or chips.
Very tasty food, would recommend but please book as it is always chocker. The waiters just need to be more attentive as it is a busy restaurant. I would visit again tho.

I went to Anar at 11.30am today and the waiter told us that the kebab would not be served until 12.00 but we could order first. We then ordered the mixed kebab for 2 and it was delivered to us at about 12:10. The lamb chops were crispy and juicy! Great service too! Highly recommended!

Really well run Turkish restaurant with good value tasty food. Portions are huge and filling. All mains came with rice. The triple milk dessert was lovely. Convenient parking. Will come again next time we're in Liverpool.
A friend of mine talked me into ‘trying Turkish’ and suggested Anar! I’m very glad she did, we shared a Supreme Breakfast (pictures attached) it was very, very tasty. It was also BIG and filling. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Usually I am a coffee drinker!..But very much enjoyed the tea which came with the meal. I very much enjoyed my visit and will definitely return to try more from the menu!
