Food was lovely. Staff lovey and attentive. When asking for the bill we were told to go to the bar as we were paying by card where we were given the bill and paid. When we got back to the car I checked the will and we were charged for 3 extra expensive alcoholic drinks which we didn’t request? Check your bill when leaving as we were very overcharged!

The four of went to Holdi to eat last night after hearing recommendations from several family members and friends.
We entered after booking a table and were stood in the lobby waiting with a freezing cold draft blowing on us for around ten minutes. Eventually one of us stepped past the queue and said we were booked in, we were shown to a table but were then moved a few minutes later due to a mix up.
The table we were seated at the 2nd time was in the corner right down the bottom of the restaurant, making it very difficult to attract any staff members attention. Because of this, we had to stand up four times, to ask for menus, to ask to order drinks, to ask to order food, and to ask where the poppadoms were 20 minutes later. (they had been sent to another table).
When the food itself came, everything was incredible - from the temperature to the portion sizes. I can see why this place is so loved!
Personally though I felt we had to battle for the attention of the staff, it was far too busy with really not enough floor staff seeing to customers. 4/5 stars, will try coming back when it's a little quieter.
Amazing place to dine.. fantastic food, very helpful, attentive staff. I can't wait to come back. I selected nice hot curry, what I was craving and food delivered satisfaction..
food was delicious had a taste of others in are company .my lamb cheese on a hot plate was tough n vile my fault I thought it would be like lamb chops.Place is beautiful .would highly recommend this place spotlessly clean .I will definitely be going by .hidden gem in woolton villiage it is
Quality little place. Definitely worth visit if you haven't been. Lovely food, lovely staff, lovely surroundings.

Set in the heart of Woolton Village this restaurant serves some of the best Indian food that you'll ever taste. Take away service is also available. The staff are very friendly and efficient and the service is beautifully executed. Good range of wines, beers, spirits and soft drinks.
Car parking is limited but other spaces are available nearby. Highly recommend making a reservation as often very busy.

Love visiting Holdi, and their takeaway prices are very competitive. Will definitely return!
Staff very welcoming.. Foods okay.. No complaints. Ambiance was nice.. Very warm vibe...
I am giving Holdi a four as they have their flavours spot on, but their lamb is too chewy.
Compared to their competitors, Dostana, whose lamb is very tender, Holdi, let's itself down.
Please Holdi, sort out your meat. You're just a stage away from being an amazing place.
