A lovely and cozy place for a soup of the day and a Sandwich or a wrap. Super fast service, small selections of dishes and friendly staff that made recomendations. Also quite cheap! Less than 10 £ for soup and wrap
Just been here today for my friends baby shower. What a fabulous coffee shop. We had afternoon tea which had a vast array of items along with toasties. The staff here are absolutely fantastic. So friendly. Lovely vibe. Will definitely be going back. Thank you ladies xx
Great food, price and service. Definitely my cafe of preference for lunch.
Very friendly staff, lovely coffee and for an amazing price. As a family of 4, we got: 2 flat whites, 1 cappuccino, 1 can of Diet Coke and 1 flapjack. All of that came to just over £11.00. Pretty good if you ask me! :)
When you find something this good it deserves to be praised.
Exceptional coffee and food. Superb friendly service all in a super cool place. Great relaxing vibe and atmosphere.
Can't rate this absolute gem highly enough 👌 👌👌
Lovely little cafe tucked away! The sandwiches and coffee were so lovely. The lady behind the counter gave the most attentive customer service, so chatty and friendly! I also got a blueberry and orange cake to takeaway which was lovely!
For a family who have never been to Liverpool I can not imagine a better way to be welcomed.
The food was lovely and very fairly priced, the Coffee was far far better than you get from any of your standard coffee shop chains.
But above all it was the care and attention to service that was what really made this place an absolute must for anyone wanting some lunch or a coffee in Liverpool.
All the little touches, making the hot chocolates a little cooler than usual due to them being for young children, providing a plate of crisps for the children while they waited for their lunch, not just saying dogs are welcome but opening the back room so we had enough room to drink and eat comfortably without taking over the place.
If all that already wasn't enough to guarantee next time we come to Liverpool we will come back, then the incredible welcome we got from Cheryl who couldn't do enough to make us welcome, happy and comfortable is the clincher. She was an absolute credit to A Small Fish in a Big Pond. And as first time visitors to Liverpool she was an absolute credit to the city.
I have visited countless Cafes over the years but never felt a review was necessary. Today I felt obligated, I would've felt incredibly guilty to have been on the end of such fantastic service and a lovely lunch break and not to have made sure the appreciation was known.
Please, anyone in Liverpool after a bite to eat or even just a drink. Don't look any further!
I've here a few times on my lunch break and the food is lovely the atmosphere is lovely and the staff are really friendly. Hirely recommended if you're after a great cafe to eat on your own or with friends or family.
Lovely place to have a nice coffee. Pet's friendly. Highly recommended.

What a lovely family owned business. You’ll always receive service with a smile and a chat to brighten your day. The coffee is delicious and so are the paninis and cakes. You can tell that local businesspeople love it here but it’s equally a great place to sit and catch up with friends. Feels so good to support small.
