Quite a regular at the Almond. Never disappointed. Normally a fish or seafood person. Decided on the liver and bacon option. It was so lovely. However the portions were really too much. So think smaller portions and maybe a colourful veg might make this dish more presentable. Very tasty though.
Almond is in my top five restaurant only just starting going their Wow fantastic food excellent service plus if you are having a celebration check out upstairs function room had my 65th birthday meal the staff were amazing I would give more than five stars hats off to the chef

Went for our anniversary and had a fabulous meal. The waiting and bar staff are lovely and the ambience is really relaxing while retaining an appropriate level of formality. Informed that the place is under new management within the last couple of months too, for those who have commented previously about negative attitudes of some. This definitely isn't the case now. Will definitely be going back!
Been here many many times and it's constantly improving! The menu has so much variety now, it's great. Although, the last time I was here (Thursday) I was sat close to the toilets and the smell was just rank, like an old nightclub toilet. Couldn't wait for the food to arrive so it would mask the smell!! Hopefully was just a one off.

This evening I visited The Almond restaurant in West Derby with my son. I can say from walking through the door we were warmly greeted and shown to our seats. The staff were all polite and courteous. I ordered the liver chicken pate.For my main course I had pan fried sea bass. The food was 1st class perfection. Top marks to the chef. The manergeress Lisa was wonderful catering for our needs. 100% to The Almond. Lovely evening and well recommended. Xxx Lorraine.
Gem of a restaurant in the Liverpool suburbs! We visited on a Thursday evening after seeing the early bird menu. The restaurant is modern and well decorated, it has a bar area separate to the restaurant. There is a wide selection of starters, mains and desserts so we all ordered different dishes. The food was all hot, fresh, tasty and well presented. The meals arrived in a good time, swaps were made to accompaniments on request and the staff were all friendly. My favourite dish was the chicken, ham and leek pie which was homemade and a good size portion. Will definitely be returning. Almond is also on the taste card and meerkat meals 😊

What can I say. Lovely staff. Food spot on. Prices very reasonable. Lovely atmosphere. Great place to meet friends during the week and not break the bank. Definitely coming back.
