We visit Liverpool when we can and always visit the Vernon Arms. Lovely traditional pub with great staff and pub 'grub'. Well worth a visit.

The Vernon Arms is just the type of pub that I look for, a good old fashioned boozer with some magnificent real ales on, all on top form i might add. As i expected the bar staff were really friendly and asked what sort of beer i wanted, giving me a few tasters on the way, and i went for a Cheshire Cat which was perfectly poured and went down a treat, so i had to get another as it would have been rude not to. 10 /10, a must for real ale drinkers. Ps I couldnt rate the food as i don't know if they did it.

Excellent choice of beers, decent prices for city centre.
Marking down 1 star as toilets absolutely filthy and stink. Need a full refurb.

Great pub on the corner of a lane. Good selection of beers available. Music played in the background. Only reason it didn't get 5 stars was that the toilet cubicle door was broken and wouldn't lock. Apart from that, no problems at all. Also friendly bar staff.
Proper old school traditional pub. Great food and amazing value. Staff were very good and a wide choice of beers
