Rigbys - Liverpool - Photo album

Great old pub. Food excellent pie of the day, steak & ale with buttery mash, mushy peas & lashings of wonderful rich gravy. Superb portion sizes the pie stuffed full of steak. Note the dinner plate was extremely large.
Thomas Rigbys is a great, old, traditional pub that always delivers good service and a vast choice of ales. Split into a bar to the left and more of a restaurant area to the right, there are also tv's to watch sport. To the rear of the pub, there is a large, private courtyard shared with the Lady o
Great selection of beers and plenty of room inside and outside to sit and socialise. Didn't dine here on this occasion, but food quality is good and reasonably priced.
Took a punt on this place......what a great find. Superb food + beers on offer. Yes, the pie really is as big as it looks 😋 Extremely clean + really great staff. Will def recommend a visit here.
Been coming here since the seventies. It's not changed a bit over the years. I think that's the way the clientele like it. Only really go during the day now as it can get very packed in the evenings, especially at weekends and can be difficult to get to the bar. They always have an excellent range o
Disclaimer: Reviewed by an American My dad and I went into the pub for the toilet. I ordered a Guinness. This may not be unique to this location but the Guinness here tasted notably better than it does in the US. We asked the barkeep for a recommendation on restaurants serving traditional Liverpoo
Central, historic pub on Dale Street. Great place to pop into for lunch for a swift pint on the way home. Drinks are reasonable (their Cruzcampo is crisp and goes down far too easily!). Food is decent, the Scouse is great (though am I partial to the scampi), the pies have always been tasty and well
Really awesome pub, friendly staff and good atmosphere! Sunday roast was gorgeous, massive portion and wuiclly served. Great variety of beers too, proper quality pub! Sport on as well for those that enjoy it :)
We went in lunch time,it was quite and we got served straight away.Pleasant pub. We only popped in for a quick pint.
One of my favourite pubs ever. I love the Okell's Bitter. Never had a bad pint. I enjoyed the steak pie and chips for lunch - very nice indeed.
Went on for a pint and they had a nice selection of ales and being Christmas, mulled wine!! The place is not pretentious and the staff are very polite. Not much more you need in a decent pub.
The vibes are great, Rob told be about the offers on the drinks can't recommend the place in enough
Ate 2 consecutive nights as loved food selection, ambience, really lovely staff and food was totally delicious. Too involved in this to take a photo! Delicious light batter on fish and roast chicken following night was one of best roasts I've had anywhere.
Good choice of real ales. On today we're okells, kirkstall and hawkshead breweries. Only thing spoiling my visit was the fact they seem to allow or turn a blind eye to vaping inside the premises.
Always an excellent meal.Lovely Scouse, pies and fish and chips. Probably the best traditional public house in the city of Liverpool.Great selection of ales and gins. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Good selection of beers but missed out on 5 stars as only having 1 Okell's beer available on handpump. Apart from that, no problem at all.
Great pub and beer garden must visit if you can
Met here with old friends for a pint or two and something to eat. Although they don't have Guinness on tap I was offered a taster of Black Heart, which was an acceptable substitute. The bar staff, although busy, were never anything but helpful and friendly. Our food wasn't long after ordering and wa
