A lovely place in a great spot. The food was excellent and the service was even better! Whole-heartedly recommended!
Brilliant little place to have a rest whilst walking around the dock. Coffee, food and the service was all excellent.
Lovely early morning breakfast, in the sun by the water. Great value for money, excellent quality ingredients used. Service was quick, warm and friendly. Lovely little cafe we stumbled across. Will definitely be back when we come back to Liverpool.

Superb vegetarian English breakfast prepared by talented chefs served with a smile. The manager went over and above to make sure everything is perfect. In fact, Rubén’s was so welcoming our dog loved it there too. I will definitely be coming back with my senior club. Wonderful place.
Superb. Great coffee and the food is really good value and quality. The only minor grumble was the hash brown could have been better. Loved the relaxed setting and brilliant customer service though 👏 👍
Very reasonably priced and friendly and attentive staff. Ordered a coffee and a croissant which was £5, unfortunately while sat outside a seagull swooped my croissant away from me. The staff offered to replace it for free and insisted when I said there’s no need. Great service and the atmosphere inside was lovely.
Minor issue with my order that was rectified as soon as staff were made aware. Halloumi wrap was honestly the nicest I've ever had.

Amazing service, each time I have come food has always been lovely and fresh. Staff are very accommodating. Lots of options for vegetarians and vegans the vegetarian breakfast is great value for money too.
First a few negatives - nothing to do with Ruben's but maps inexplicably had the location on the other side of the dock in a non existant location between Gusto & Revolucion de Cuba. Have asked this amended.
Finally after ten years of being a vegetarian, and trying literally dozens and dozens of places up and down the UK, have I found the best veggie breakfast. Hands down, lovely fresh leaf spinach, veggie sausages which are as good as any you'll find anywhere; grilled halloumi, beautifully poached eggs, beans tomato and thick white bloomer toast. Superb.
Wife's non-veggie breakfast equally good. She pointed out it was a very good cup of Earl Grey. I had a very good coffee ☕😊
Had the most delicious breakfast wraps on Sunday. Wow, they were absolutely wonderful and not too expensive £6.95 each. Tea and coffee nice too. Definitely recommend. 😀
Nice coffee! Ordered a full breakfast and a Egg Benedict with spinach were both nice and not greasy at all. The view is good too. We were too hungry to take photos of the food though 😬
