First time visiting this branch, it was a different feel to the other branches I have visited but nevertheless there was a lot of choice of food, the staff were nice and there was seating available.
We asked for some sushi not to have wasabi on the side and we asked for some sushi to have avocado in instead of cucumber and it was no problem for them to make us new batches up.
The portions are good sizes, even the avocado maki you get a big chunk of avocado not like other sushi places.

Amazing sushi, also ordered teriyaki chicken which was served hot👍. Outdoor seating area, as well as indoor upstairs.

Our first time visiting Kokoro and we'll definitely be coming back. The staff are very friendly and prompt with service. The sushi was fresh, flavorful and filling and the katsu chicken was hot, full of flavor and unlike other reviews, covered in sauce. The upstairs seating area is pleasant and clean. Very nice relaxed atmosphere.

definitely a great place to quickly grab your meal. i ordered spicy chicken curry i believe and it was good! 😋 the regular portion is filling despite its size and it's nice to choose your own base (noodles or rice). vegetarian option is also available! the place itself isn't big hence why it's perfect for a quick takeaway/dine in. i've yet to order the sushi but i will definitely return to give it another try!

If there was a 3.5 for food then I'd give it that. The sushi is nice, especially for the price in Liverpool. Seems fresh, the rice isn't dry like tesco 🤢, there is flavour. I remember it being better before. The rice was softer/had better texture. I'm pretty sure there was mayo on the sushi too
Kokoro is a really nice place to grab a snack or a hot meal on the go when passing by. I love their onigiri, they are fresh and tasty and make for a filling and healthy lunch. There is a good choice of beverages and hot meals as well.
Been coming here for two years and it’s always tasty. Staff are nice and plenty of seating upstairs. Plus there’s aircon for hot days! Sweet chilli chicken is what I usually get

If you ask they let you try a bit before you buy. Really good value for money and lovely food. May look expensive at first glace but once you look at the quality of the food and the portion size you realise its such a good place to go.
I get the small size and i can barely finish it. My boyfriend gets a large and it fills him up, which is impressive as nothing usually can.
All the staff are very friendly and the place is extremely clean.
Never been back to yo sushi since finding this place!!
