the veg curry was to die for :) couldn't get enough of it - staff at Smithdown Road were lovely , even tho the shop was heaving they dealt with every one in a relaxed easy manner x

Amazing scran. I've been going to all three raggas restaurants for years now. It started off with a tiny shop with a few tables and a dodgy fridge all that time ago. However the food speaks for itself and as a result of this, this is the reason its come on leaps and bounds. My favourite one is the smithdown one as its like been in an old jamican lady's kitchen. The atmosphere the tunes and the genuinely nice people that love working there all compliment it well. Just because I like the smithdown one the best that's no poor reflection on any of the others its just what I like and I remember when that was the one and only raggas. Get yourself down here people 10/10 no question you will not be disappointed. :-)

Just some seriously good food! Only problem is that we just want more of it. Mutton was cooked perfectly for us and most of the menu is gluten free, win win. Delicious very satisfying 🫶🏼.

Nice little shop to serve Jamaican cuisine. Customer services is good and very friendly. I bought a small portion of jerk chicken and rice which was nice but not enough. Next time will try the large portion. PS. see attached updated menu

Great food at a great price. Be here a few times. Food is always great. Great selection of dishes. Recommend the brown slaw chops with pea rice. Tasty.

The oxtail and jerk hit different from here Edit: I used to come here every week but now portions are too small to be worth it. The food is also worse In the picture i asked for jerk prawns and rice and peas. And there's only 4 prawns like. What happened?

Mutton was delicious. Much better than Turtle Bay and half the price. If you like West Indian food, this is the place.

As with most of the other reviews; 10/10. I called and ordered the brown chicken stew with rice and collected in 15 mins. Very well priced, good service, and most importantly the food was unreal. Absolute gem in Liverpool. I'll be coming here again, and advise others to do the same!

First time eating Caribbean food in Liverpool. Highly recommended to me by a work colleague. I can say my meal was very tasty. A portion size and the assistant was polite and helpful. Definitely a good place to eat when I’m visiting in the future. Gets five stars ⭐️ from me

Travel from Widnes to come here but would travel further if need be. Keep trying to steer from the jerk chicken but can’t pull myself away from it. It’s truly delicious, moorish with all the right spice for me. Also tried the chicken soup today which is why I went for a small jerk. Soup also on another level. If this food was served in a high end establishment it would not disappoint. Staff amazing and always ready to help/advise. Do yourself a favour and try some Ragga Flava.
