We come every week and it’s always marvellous. Alan and his excellent team really look after us and always take time to talk to my Dad who is 94. Alan remembers his drink every week and suggests meals he may like, he really does go above and beyond the call of duty. Today we were looked after by Robyn and Monika. They’re always so friendly and give us the warmest welcome, nothing is too much trouble for them. I had a sirloin steak with sweet potato fries and peppercorn sauce and it was delicious, this is by far the best pub restaurant in the area.

Lovely little place to visit, food was nice and I loved the sizzler side of the dish

The food was lovely but the man I asked to clean the table sprayed the spray everywhere, not on the cloth first but all over the condimemts leaving the table soaking. I took the couple of soaked forks out of the box and placed them on a different table. Then I went to ask for some cutlery and went to return to my seat only to be told to wait whilst the girl passed it to me to take it myself . Not very good customer service or pride in their job.
