Decent fare for a Saturday night. Staff served quickly as they could considering the mostly drunken clientele. I enjoyed my salt and pepper chips. My brothers southern fried chicken was very dry and was perhaps under the heat lamp for too long.

We enjoyed an evening meal here in the beer garden. The service was great, we ordered from our table and the drinks on the food order arrived very quickly. The food itself was quite nice, just typical pub food but nothing to complain about at all. The staff where helpful and attentive. Overall would recommend for a pub lunch etc

It's 26 years since I last ordered " Meat & potato pie, chips and gravy" at The Lobster Pot. I wasn't disappointed today!
