Had a trip to Speke Hall this week and it was as divine as ever I have lost track of how many times I have been there but it never disappoints. Great place for kids too as the gardens are a safe haven for families you could literally be there all day. The Hall looks stunning time only helps it to ge
A beautiful property that we've been meaning to visit for quite some time. We weren't disappointed, it's beautiful & fascinating.
The grounds were a treat to walk around too and we even got to watch some aeroplanes land at the airport.
The staff are lovely and very knowledgeable.

A great day out for the family. A well kept example of a Tudor home. The volunteers around the building were wonderful and full of knowledge which made each room even more interesting.
Only negatives were that the service was extremely slow in both cafe and stalls. Also the maze was shut. Not ideal
There is a large carpark, and it's easy to get, too. The gardens are lovely with some colourful borders. It's worth paying a visit to the secret garden, which is a lovely place to relax. The hall is nice but very dark inside.

Excellent NT property just outside Liverpool, next to John Lennon airport. Plenty of rooms open to explore and friendly room guides eager to explain the house history. As members we were able to have a pre opening private tour by a fantastic guide dressed in a Victorian outfit. (See picture)

Beautiful historic building, and lovely grounds. The 'Bund' walk gives amazing views across the River Mersey and beyond - well worth it!
Great day out with the kids. A nice cafe, great grounds with activities and an interesting walk around the Hall itself. It has a really good Giant's walk that is interactive for kids. This could even be developed more as it seems to end quite abruptly just as the kids were getting into it. However i
Lovely National Trust property. Interesting house, beautiful grounds and great extended walks. Perfect for kids; there is maze, playground and special trail through the woods especially for children with more play equipment. Also good for dogs... dogs on leads permitted on certain walks in the groun
Being only from the Wirral, I can’t believe it took me so long to visit this gem. The grounds themselves are absolutely beautiful and the house is just stunning. Stroll around the extensive gardens, get lost in the maze, play areas for children and not forgetting the house to explore.
Lovely rooms in the house, very well maintained with friendly staff situated in many rooms.

I hadn't visited for quite a few years, but it was lovely to see this gem of a place on Merseyside! The outside grounds, the history & architecture of Speke Hall are stunning. All the volunteers were very informative of the halls history. And, if you wish to do so, you can watch a bit of plane spott
Great day at Speke Hall with more than enough to entertain the grandchildren before taking them around the stunning house. Edges out Dunham Massey as my favourite local National Trust location because of the child friendly approach to education and entertainment and then we had the planes to look at
Part of the National Trust and a really interesting house to look around. The guides were friendly and knowledgeable. Lovely gardens and a mini maze. Great for picnics. Café and pizza van also available.
A good day out for all the family. The gardens are lovely and we'll kept. There's plenty for the children to do and explore. There's a Childe of Hale path that my granddaughter found very exciting. Lots of woodland with climbing features. The cafe is clean, well stocked and priced reasonably. There
Speke Hall is a good place to visit if you're a National Trust member, but expensive if you're not. Long walks through the gardens and woods, an historic Tudor house you can walk around and enter, picnic areas and cafe. It's a good for kids too.
Loved it beautiful place well kept . Staff and volunteers very enthusiastic and helpful. My grandchildren loved it we shall go again.
Beautiful place to visit, as we often do. Watching the earth spring to life again this time and at the end of our walk, a lovely coffee and ice cream sitting outside in the sun was perfect.
