Went in for a quick meal and service was fast , friendly staff and pretty decent food!! Liked the bacon was grilled propperly and not soft and fatty like some of the other weatherspoons. Lovely roof terrace. Defo recommend.
First visit into Liverpool and came out at James Street station πŸš‰ so this was ideal as it's only across the road. Really friendly atmosphere and very well staffed, dinner was spot on and with drinks thrown in you can't beat it for value. As an added bonus it has a roof terrace as well. Turn left and
Whilst staying at the Travel Lodge, this has definitely become our local! This pub has been our go-to, serving a super breakfast, lunch or evening meal, all good value for money, and is always open when everything else is closed! Thank you πŸ˜‹
Nice big, open plan pub with decent food and a lively atmosphere. Service was good and staff were reasonably friendly. The hot drinks machines are excellent and make a superb quality coffee. Good level of cleanliness throughout. One that particularly impressed me was the men’s toilets in this establ
Newish spoons near the Pier Head. Nice atmosphere and very busy. Lots of ladies meeting up for parties and get togethers. Idea stop off between the Albert dock and the main city centre.
Food is okay, great service usually fast, atmosphere on the garden so sunny I love their cheap drinks great place to meet friends
We popped in for breakfast. The staff were friendly and polite. The food was fine and turned up in good time. The pub was tidy. I'd definitely recommend this spoons.
Rolled into Liverpool late and was really hungry. Most places were closed or not serving food at that hour. Walked in The Captain Alexander had a seat and all six of us were fed a perfect meal. Awesome atmosphere. We loved it!
Great for a quick bite. Service was quick and staff were friendly. Popular with the locals and tourists as it’s in a great spot.
Had a day over in Liverpool. After a walk around the Albert Dock. My partner and I decided to go for food and a drink. Got to say, one of the nicest spoons I’ve ever been in. The staff were friendly and good sense of humour. The prices for food and drink are great value for money. In a good location
We loved coming here for our breakfasts during our stay in Liverpool. The pub is pleasant, clean and air conditioned during the summer, and the staff is friendly. Water is provided next to the coffee machines. Great view by the window facing the James Street station exit teeming with activity.
Customers pretty much always know what they get with a Wetherspoons pub. Great value food and drink, with efficient service in a great location. My friend was over from Dubai and he couldn't believe a double Tanquerey and tonic was Β£5.86 (neither could I, as I rarely check prices!) Probably seatin
Wild and crazy after the Pride Parade but service was still good and smiles were had by all.
Lovely, big and spacious Wetherspoon πŸ˜€ quick quality food and very reasonable for the price πŸ˜€ They have a nice outdoor terrace around the back πŸ˜€ Fast speedy service and friendly happy helpful staff πŸ‘ I always order through the app because it's so easy and simple and they have this feature at all
A busy time when we called in for lunch, about 1:45pm. Ordered via app, drinks arrived within 5 minutes, food within 10 minutes. The food was good and hot. Only criticism would be that we noticed that the tables were not cleared quickly or wiped down. All in all, it was a good visit.
In fact I fell in love with the Wetherspoon concept. Although the food is not great in means of delicatesse, their promotions are insanely good. You get a fulfilling snack or meal and for another 2 pounds you get nearly any drink in the menu. Just loved it
Ate the burrito bowl... healthy, nutritious, tasty and great value for money. The roof terrace is a lovely area to sit in on a warm night.. much more relaxed then the very popular indoors bar.
Very lively here with an impressive landscaped roof terrace. Will need to be patient because it can get really busy at the bar. Shusti the female team leader is an asset to the brand
The cleanest Whetherspoons I have ever been to. The tables were cleared and cleaned in no time. The wait on staff were friendly and didn't take all day find a cup when I requested one to drink hot water with. I had the traditional breakfast, the food was cooked great but it was on the cold side espe
