Went in for a quick meal and service was fast , friendly staff and pretty decent food!!
Liked the bacon was grilled propperly and not soft and fatty like some of the other weatherspoons.
Lovely roof terrace.

First visit into Liverpool and came out at James Street station 🚉 so this was ideal as it's only across the road. Really friendly atmosphere and very well staffed, dinner was spot on and with drinks thrown in you can't beat it for value. As an added bonus it has a roof terrace as well. Turn left and you are on the Water Front and Turn right and you are in the town centre and only 5 minutes away from the Cavern Club .
Whilst staying at the Travel Lodge, this has definitely become our local! This pub has been our go-to, serving a super breakfast, lunch or evening meal, all good value for money, and is always open when everything else is closed! Thank you 😋
Nice big, open plan pub with decent food and a lively atmosphere.
Service was good and staff were reasonably friendly. The hot drinks machines are excellent and make a superb quality coffee.
Good level of cleanliness throughout.
One that particularly impressed me was the men’s toilets in this establishment. Really really good quality instalments. All tiled, real porcelain, nice big mirrors, chunky taps and tasteful decor. Clean, tidy and non-stinky.
We visited on a Saturday during the day and it was medium busy for this place. I know it can get a bit loud and rowdy at times but that comes with the territory eh, it’s basically a pub after all.

Newish spoons near the Pier Head. Nice atmosphere and very busy. Lots of ladies meeting up for parties and get togethers. Idea stop off between the Albert dock and the main city centre.
Food is okay, great service usually fast, atmosphere on the garden so sunny I love their cheap drinks great place to meet friends
We popped in for breakfast. The staff were friendly and polite. The food was fine and turned up in good time.

Rolled into Liverpool late and was really hungry. Most places were closed or not serving food at that hour. Walked in The Captain Alexander had a seat and all six of us were fed a perfect meal. Awesome atmosphere. We loved it!

Had a day over in Liverpool. After a walk around the Albert Dock. My partner and I decided to go for food and a drink. Got to say, one of the nicest spoons I’ve ever been in. The staff were friendly and good sense of humour. The prices for food and drink are great value for money. In a good location, just opposite James street railway station.
