Hanover Street. Having tried other fish and chips shops in the centre this is the best in my opinion. Good fish and chips; never had another meal from there. The gravy and curry sauce isn't to my taste but the mushy peas are nice.

Food tasted great, I had a small sausage dinner which was more than enough for me. Lady who served me was singing and very cheerful which immediately took me out of my stressed mood. Stay happy! Fab place.

Big burger & portion of chips. Great prices. Hard to find nowadays. Lovely beef & cheese, salad in burger.

This is a quality takeaway, where the options are clearly displayed on the electronic boards! These are positioned above the counter that shows the appetising heated food and was run by friendly staff, who served me and my friend quickly. We both had delicious fish and chips sat comfortably outside on their tables, which were very clean!

Have visited on many occasions. It was empty upstairs but it was about 2:30 but some services have stopped up there. I do like the seating as many chippies don't have seating facilities.

As always great food and service but take care if paying by card as my receipt on Friday had my card number in full. No asterisks at all and is the reason four 4stars.

CHIP REVIEW I am very critical of chips and based on tonight’s experience I can’t think of a reason not to give 5 stars. Cooked perfectly, piping hot when I got them. The lady added salt and vinegar to my liking. Not a single chip was undercooked and too potatoey. This batch had a great mix actual chips and then the little crispy pieces that aren’t really chips. Eating the two together is a great combo. I have had this place for years in Liverpool and tonight sober was great. Had I been as drunk as Saturday it may have been 6 stars.

Always been the best Chippy to go to in town. Friendly quick service and at certain times of the day the upstairs is open where you can sit and eat. Unfortunately., today they were not serving hot drinks upstairs and not sure if they no longer offer this service.
