Have a superb wine tasting afternoon. I would highly recommend this place. They do cooking, cocktail, gin workshops too plus they do a bespoke workshop. Will definitely be visiting this place again.
Did the pasta making course over the weekend, great experience. Had a lot of fun and the staff were excellent. Beautiful authentic Italian food for and sale and a great coffee shop. Highly recommend a visit �� �
Wonderful welcome from genuine Italian staff. Food freshly made and excellent. Been here several times now - a great place for cheery laid back all afternoon lunch!! Excellent choice of very tasty wines.
Really nice food, very nice staff. Unfortunately some pastas are very small, in my case I had to order an extra one, my friend had to do the same. I still gave you 5 stars, but please make the dishes much bigger
We recently called in on a lazy Sunday afternoon for a glass of wine (excellent) before moving on elsewhere. However, we enjoyed the ambience, service and general buzz of A Tavola so much we didn't want to move. We had another drink and then some delicious food. I had the smoked salmon linguini with cream. My only slightly negative comment is that there is just a single WC for everyone. To be fair, it was clean but had a very suspect lock and the door opens out to a tabled area. I wouldn't want to queue if I was in a hurry!
Would I recommend this place? Yes of course.

Delicious starters which were very generous in portion size. All four of us chose a different main course and all were fantastic. A lovely tiramisu to finish!

Authentic Italian deli, great atmosphere and wonderful customer service. Maria is always ready to welcome every one with a smile. I used A Tavola for my meetings or a quick meal. Every Christmas I have my humpers prepared to friends and work colleagues.
There are other restaurants around the premise but A Tavola give a taste of Italy informally and elegant.
The wine sélection are to all tastes from Rocca di Montemassi, Sassicaia, Masseto, Solaia, Barolo, Amarone, Tignanello. If you don't understand, no problem Gigi is always willing to help both for the food and drinks.
Beautiful family run deli, cafe and cookery school. Maria is a wonderful hostess. We had lovely coffees/hot chocolates before taking part in a cookery class and I can not recommend it enough. We all raved over the interaction, the fantastic food and the overall hospitality. We went to Il Forno which is owned by the same family afterwards and were equally impressed.
Amazing hidden gem of a place. Perfect for those who love their Italian food and particularly their wine. We got a fine selection of cheeses and cooled meats as well as garlic ciabatta and calamari. Prices are about what you expect for somewhere in the town centre. The manager, Marie, I believe is exceptional.
Mamma mia!! We had a fantastic aperitif and dinner at this wonderful Italian oasis in Liverpool!! Maria was the perfect host and the food was delicious! A great place for a real Italian evening! Grazie mille!!!!!
Gosh..... such lovely place to eat , service and all people so lovely and very professional, Maria = was such professional and lovely and no stop to explain all , we have a such SPECIAL TIME , learning and eat and drink and make memories, WHAT A FAB PLACE TO eat and hVe a FAB TIME .
