My wife collapsed outside after being dropped off. The staff and customers acted very quickly and really cared. They took her inside until she was mobile again.

I don't really do to puns now days due to the large volume of knob heads, but this pub is perfect for the quick quiet pint, the staff are friendly and so are the locals, I shall be going back at some point

Love the food especially the burgers like they way u can customise it also love watching the horse racing and the kids claw machine really recommend this pub always friendly staff too! 🙏❤❤❤❤❤

Great pub, staff are great, nothing too much trouble, food is great, plenty of screens on displaying different sports, plenty of seating available, people who frequent the place are normally very pleasant and cheerful, there's a bowling green in the back which is great to sit outside in the better weather, there's parking close by but be warned if you park in black horse lane next to the pub the traffic wardens can be a bit keen

Good pub. Very friendly helpful staff. Food is always fresh and hot. Hand pump beers are kept well, very important as we are camra members ! This is the best pub in the area.
