We now live in Sussex and this is by far the best carvery we have been to. There were 7 of us and all agreed that it was a brilliant meal. Puddings were amazing too and the service was second to none. The meat portion was much more generous than any we have been to down by us and would recommend this Toby to anyone as a really decent place to eat
It was absolutely lovely had to wait 10-15 minutes for a table but well worth the wait the staff are lovely and the food was spot on especially the meat come here sometimes but always gorgeous
Went for dinner on a Wednesday night and as it was busy, we waited half an hour for a table which was fine as we waited at the bar. The food was delicious, staff were attentive and nice atmosphere. Only downside was some dirty cutlery (even when new cutlery requested it was dirty) but I can’t wait to go back!
Pretty standard for Toby carvery, good food and not expensive. But definitely exceptional waiting staff. The ladies working as waiting on staff are really lovely, super helpful, cheerful, can't do enough for you, lovely to all customers, definitely deserve a pay rise!! Definitely recommend this Toby 👍
Excellent, friendly service. My son and I were made to feel very welcome and like valued customers. The staff were treating everyone like this and it made it our best vist to a Toby.
Both waitress and male manager went the extra mile to make my disabled mother’s experience both enjoyable and comfortable. Food served swiftly as usual and replenished quickly. Delicious. Service excellent. Polite, bubbly waitress and personal touches from management made this meal more enjoyable.
Always pleased with the service and the food. We go often and are never disappointed. This last visit 2 members of your lovely staff (sorry I did not ask their names) gave me a lift home to my door as my taxi did not arrive. I can never thank them enough. We will visit again very soon
Amazing staff, really friendly, efficient and attentive. Good Sunday lunch variety of vegetables but could have been hotter. Would recommend but book as it gets busy
We have been so many times as a family , we love the carvery. This time my daughter and I visited.
We got served by a lovely lady , sorry don't remember her name, she was originally from Scotland.
So friendly and looked after us, lovely and very attentive to all the customers
A real credit to your company wish there where more members of staff who had the same dedication.thanks

Carvery was very tasty. Good value for money. Could do with turning the heating up a bit though as we ate with our coats on as it was a bit cold inside.
Went for breakfast with family. Nice warm food help yourself so you can eat as much as you want. Not a big eater in the morning so didn't go mad. Free fill ups on tea and coffee. Place and tables were clean would definitely go again.
There wasn't enough staff. That meant that service was slow, because of a lack of staff, so we ended up eating our puddings in the bar area. Spoons aren't readily available for young children who've ordered beans etc. The plate and bowl of beans served to one of the children was way too hot. That slowed things down. Some of the changes since Covid, such as not having cutlery out, doesn't work if there are a lack of staff.
