Philpotts is an amazing little canteen style breakfast and lunch spot near the docks area of Liverpool One. It's on a side street and could easily be overlooked if you didn't know how amazing it is!!
Philpotts do all kinds of breakfast foods as well as any combination of sandwiches, salads, wraps, baguettes or paninis you can think of. I got the chicken caesar salad and my Dad got a granary ham salad baguette. He said the ham was really tasty and there was loads of it! Along with our drinks and crisps as part of the meal deal, our lunch came to around £13 in total and we were both too full to finish everything!
Definitely adding Philpotts to my list of top lunch spots in Liverpool!

Went in at lunchtime on a cold and windy day after a visit to the Pierhead. Looking for something hot we were tempted by the gourmet soup of the day - scouse! We were given a nice large bowl of a meaty stew with lots of delicious vegetables. We were also given a plate to help ourselves to some donut pieces at the till, which finished off our lunch nicely. Also on sale is a large choice of sandwiches and fresh salads made to order. A good place for lunch!

Stopped in for a quick bite with a friend - it was a busy lunch time, and expected it to be a little rammed, but staff were quick whilst still being friendly. Decent selection of food, which should meet most dietary requirements - good choice of hot and cold, too, which is always nice to see during winter
