Called in for a quick pint and bite to eat on the way to anfield for the legends game,staff were very friendly as always in liverpool.we only had a lite bite which was great value as it came with a free drink.food was very nice and a decent portion for a light bite,the only down side was that they don't serve guinness upstairs only in the main bar,but overall was worth a visit.

Came here before our flight to Amsterdam. Had such a laugh ended up missing our pre booked taxi and had to rush to the airport. Just about made it. Staff were really friendly. Cocktails were decent.

My friend and I decided to pop into Yates the other day.
It’s a lot different from what we used to know of Yates but we really enjoyed ourselves!
We had a few drinks and ending up having dinner there in the end. The meals were both reasonably priced and I thought the portion sizes were really good in comparison to some other places in the town centre.
We were served by the manager, I think he said his name was Wade, he was a really decent bloke and spent a little time chatting to my friend about football. The whole experience was really good and took us both by surprise, will definitely be coming back!

Come in for breakfast this morning for the first time, I do usually go else where, a regular place I visit but remembered Yates served breakfast so looking through the menu I opted for the ‘Breakfast Burger’ which comes with fried egg but Dave had no problem changing this to scrambled for me, the burger came quickly, also came with a ‘tomato salsa’ which made the burger taste that little better, It was delicious!, very filling and will definitely be back again.

Great atmosphere though we only stopped here for a drink or two. Staff are young and vibrant. Watch where you stand at the bar!!! Make sure that it is by a till or you will be stood there for ages! Believe me I learned that lesson quite quickly lol 😂 Been here before with a crowd and also a good place for a couple.

Always had a good experience here. Plenty of drinks to choose from. Especially on draft.
Had food once and it was your typical pub food. Prices are alright and they have offers on certain days. There's plenty of places to sit including a nice little area outside that gets the sun in the evening. There is more seating upstairs along with pool tables.
Only issue I've had is only 1 bar staff when it was busy. Waited around 10mins to be served. Which isn't ideal, especially when people end up pushing in.
This place is wheelchair and kid friendly. However when I was there last, the disabled toilet door/lock was broken and there is only one disabled toilet downstairs. The toilet are up stairs.
