Best battered cod I've had from a Chinese chippy...crispy batter, perfectly cooked, not oily......Orded food from another local Chinese takeaway but they don't do fish and chips so i got a piece of cod on its own from here with low expectations given the other reviews but I will be coming here from now on

I love happy villa....Love it and food is loverly. Chips are spotless. Gravy is NEVER WATERY and tastes gorgeous. Chicken fried rice is AMAZING.

Very good chip shop with a good menu selection at reasonable prices. The shop itself is clean and the curry and chips are great.

I rang up on new yearts eve and I was told that they were very busy it could be them or if they are to busy they will pass the order to another Chinese takeaway so l invisaged a)long wait to my surprise the order arrived 5 minutes early at 7.55pm the meal was piping hot the chef deserves my compliments for an excellent meal well befitting a 5 star Mitchellin chef this is now the only chippy I will order from

Really appreciate the fact that they put half the chips in, add the salt and vinegar, put some more chips in and then add salt and vinegar to those ones too. Makes sure there's a decent amount all over rather than some being dry and others being too salty.
