Went to the Hanover Street Social, we had booked for 12.00 noon but arrived 10 mins early and they weren’t open yet.
Regardless of that we were made welcome and shown to our seats and made extremely welcome.
We had the lunch time special, I had the Chicken pot pie with chips - to say that it was excellent does not give justice - it was fantastic! The taste was just amazing.
My wife’s meal was fish and she said that was great as well, we complimented the staff for the quality of the meal and the service we received.
Highly recommend this restaurant, if I could give 5 more stars they would have got them.
Ate here today with the family. Was very impressed with the quality of the food and great service! We both had Sunday roast and they were very good. Will be back soon. Special mention to the deal for kids, 2 courses for £4.50. Exceptional work guys, keep it up!

Visited again recently with a reservation and arrival was great, loved that hey had found us a window seat for 2.
Feedback - Was not as busy as usual but drinks took 40 mins after 3 moans and 2 apologies from our server about them “not being ready at the bar”.
Hot food followed soon after - delicious Pork Belly for both of us !!
Lovely server tried very hard and was very frustrated by the slow bar service, although he could have brought us water in the meantime.

The place is nice and has a wide menu. Prices in line with the area. We took the lunch express menu. Unfortunately, the food took a lot to come, we got our appetizer in 15 minutes and then over 30 minutes additional wait for the mains. The food was good, overall good value, but lunch express name did not love up to the express part, more than 1.5 hours.
This is a really cosy and nice restaurant to have a traditional English roast meal. I had the goat cheese as a starter which was nice and the roast beef which was well cooked and tasty. The meat and potatoes were really good, was not impressed with the Yorkshire pudding (was still ok). Was too full for desert but friends had the sticky pudding and loved it.
The staff was very friendly, it did took some time for the food to come out though. Cosy and casual atmosphere but it was a bit cold.
All in all, i would definitely recommend this restaurant!
Lovely food and great atmosphere! I had the Gammon Sunday Roast with my partner having a gluten free Chicken Sunday Roast. Could not fault the food at all, absolutely fantastic! I had a Banoffee Pot for dessert. Would fully recommend it to anyone thinking of a Sunday Roast, especially with the gluten free option
Had a lovely Sunday lunch at Hanover Street Social. The vegetable soup was delicious! There was a nut roast as the vegetarian option and it was very tasty. The portion size was good and it was affordable for two courses. The atmosphere was lively and the service was quick and friendly. Would recommend for a nice Sunday lunch in Liverpool!
Enjoyed a nice evening meal here. Prices were average & food was good quality. Could have benefited from more choice on menu/some daily specials.

200m from both Liverpool Central Station and Liverpool One bus station. Just over the road from Liverpool One shopping centre, it is a great located bar/restaurant.
I didn't eat here, so I can't comment on the food.
