Having left Liverpool 20 years ago, this was my first time at this lovely, characrerful pub since I worked in the area. Setting aside the circumstances of my return - a funeral wake - this is great little pub: staff very kind, polite and helpful.
Only complaint: please don't mix the veggie food on same serving dishes as meat stuff. Otherwise would have been 5 stars x

Staff are always friendly and the service is good, can get busy over the weekend but always a good atmosphere.

Returned to an old haunt where I spent so many years of my young adult life. This was for a wake so tinged with sadness.
