Typical Wetherspoons to be fair the staff were nice and the food was excellent however some of the clientele are to be avoided
We chose fish chips mushy peas scampi chips and peas 2 pints of larger included in the meal deal £22.95
The staff were very friendly and we waited 15 mins for our meal which was fresh and hot . There were a lot of other people eating . The curry and chicken meals looked delicious the atmosphere was great with family gatherings We will be going back to sample other dishes with friends and family Thanks to all the staff for there hard work x
Popped in for a quick refresher and had one of those low calorie drinks. I would recommend this to anyone who doesn't really drink or is taking it easy or watching their calorie intake. Here's a picture! I describe it as a carbonated water without sugar or sweeteners (I really dislike sweeteners) my personal taste that is. Added with a hint of flavour subtle but effective. Still it's 5% alcohol.

Got 2 tasty freedom breakfasts with add on’s all enjoyable tasty hot
Building is clean and ample seating parking is ample but sadly chargeable (paying customers should be refunded) overall good

First time since it became a wetherspoons, being truthfull the food was just about passable, have been in better wetherspoons locally and my complaint is more that even though it is only a pub meal a bit more effort making the plate look nicer goes a long way,
Won't be returning for a meal, may go for a drink though.
Called in for pre dinner drinks. Pub was busy, good atmosphere. Managed to get a table. Staff working hard to clear away used dishes and glasses
Seems to me that jd weatherspoons food is not to the standard it used to be. Beautiful old pub though
We have a meeting every month on Sunday morning and always received a very warm friendly welcome as if we are family 💯 % quality and staff 😀
Meal for three young pensioners monthly get-together, each had curry meals plus two coffees.
Excellent.
Back again next month.
