So glad the original owners are back got food lastnight did wait 10 mins but the food was amazing as normal highly recommended now the boys are back will deffo recommend to everyone my southfried chicken wrap was amazing and so was the skyscraper burger ,

Ordered piri piri on uber eats and I've gotta say it was absolutely spot on. The same order I was about to get from nandos was £51.50 on deliveroo. Ordered the same thing from here and it was £31 literally 20 pounds cheaper the nandos pricing is absolutely ridiculous. Piri piri have a new customer in me spot on.

Got my third order for this takeaway tonight and it was outstanding as always, got a fresh chicken pitta, which was lovely and fresh! My partner got crispy chicken wrap that was also really fresh and tasty! Nice big portions, proper quality food! Some off the negative reviews on here must be fake or have no clue! Because all three orders off mine where consistent! See you soon again. PS try their homemade cakes!

I was not expecting much, as this type of chicken in Liverpool is usually overcooked, but when i walked in my hopes picked up. Solid menu not straying from mostly Portuguese inspired dishes. Got the half.chicken medium hot, fries,.coleslaw and a can of Sumol, all for about a tenner. I am honestly really impressed with the chicken and even the coleslaw (the Sumol fizzy drink is a given). Great grilling, not over cooked on the inside and nicely charred on the outside. Only slight disappointment was the chips -standard bought fries with a bit of piri salt on the top. But the chicken is what its about and that has to be 5 stars. Guy serving and cooking was also very friendly.

We visited Liverpool and stayed near penny lane for 3 days and had dinner 3 days in a row as we liked the burger and half chicken taste very much . And the person who works there also very cool and makes the order fast. Sure we visit hear yo eat agin if we are in Liverpool 👍

I've ordered from Piri Piri Express so many times now, and I've never been let down.
Amazing chicken. Amazing sauce. AMAZING garlic bread. The pastéis de nata are unreal. I completely recommend the very hot chicken breast - the sauce leaves you sweating and gasping for something cold but it is SO WORTH IT. I've also tried the half chicken, and that's great too. Super tender, juicy and spicyyyyyyy. Better than Nando's by a long shot.
Oh, and did I mention they do banoffee pie????? Yeah. DELICIOUS.

Great chicken place, the food was freshly made upon our order, we had half of the chicken and Peri Peri wings and chips. Everything was delicious, the chicken was juicy! we got offered extra sauces for chips for free and the guy serving us was super nice and attentive! Highly recommended for a quick bite!
